u wouldnt think a bathroom collection could have such an effect on decor, but this series does. they are very stylishly made; with the 'shell' they appear sturdily constructed thus far; & they are beautifully designed, with the angled tilt. we bought 3 x the whole series for our guest rooms as well, including the garbage bins. they are a little more expensive than regular items, but well worth it
the only problem is the felt base for the items, which isnt suitable for wet areas. they also managed to put a sticky label there & the ink ran!

Steeltek Cashmere Soap/Lotion Pump, Chocolate I love the look and function of this product. I'm concerned that it emits a droplet of blue green color in each bit of dispensed soap. The soap I use is a clear environmentally friendly one sold by Restoration Hardware. My concern is that the inside metal of the dispenser is leaching into the soap and delivering a bit of patina with each pump.

Like everyone else, I agree that this set is really stunning and unique. That's why I bought them, they seemed to be exactly what I was looking for.
However, when I received them, the soap dispenser already didn't function correctly (it stuck very badly after every use) and the tumbler leaked from the top ring every time I took a sip. The large hole on the toothbrush holder also isn't large enough to fit a new or mostly-filled tube of toothpaste as it should. When I first bought the set, I just used the soap dish to hold my jewelry and bobby pins while I took a shower or slept, but recently I began using it for actually holding a bar of soap. The finish began to deteriorate and leave its brown, sandy textured paint in my soap after 3 days. By the end of the week, the finish was so badly deteriorated from the bar of soap I had to throw it away.
