A beautiful way to present a pyramid of strawberries or a stack of fresh asparagus, this deep oval dish gets maximum capacity out of its intimate dimensions. Deep at the sides, the piece narrows gracefully at the bottom, finishing in an indented oval that enables it to rest flat. The slim turned lip at the edge is a nice detail. I purchased this dish for an unconventional use: to portion candies for bulk sale. It is an excellent size for my needs, and the narrow oval shape allows for easy pouring into small bags. The stainless steel holds up well to NSF cleaning in my dishwasher, too. This would be an excellent serving dish for nuts or candies in your home or for a wedding or party buffet. It looks very elegant (the shine is beautiful); the traditional shape and color lends itself to vintage decorating as well. It's a proud addition to my daily business operations!
