I purchased this dish for an unconventional use: to portion candies for bulk sale. It is an excellent size for my needs, and the narrow oval shape allows for easy pouring into small bags. The stainless steel holds up well to NSF cleaning in my dishwasher, too. This would be an excellent serving dish for nuts or candies in your home or for a wedding or party buffet. It looks very elegant (the shine is beautiful); the traditional shape and color lends itself to vintage decorating as well. It's a proud addition to my daily business operations!
