Oversized Stainless Steel Spoon Rest. Beauty and function find this 18/8 polished spoon rest ever present in the cooks space

Amazon.com

Steeltek barware and serving pieces are crafted for high function and effortless good looks. The line uses durable 18/8 stainless steel, an alloy with 18 percent chrome for corrosion-resistance and 8 percent nickel for luster. Styled for a polished sensibility, each piece in the collection stands alone or blends well with most tableware. They are suitable for casual or sophisticated affairs and backed by a lifetime warranty.

Striking in profile and substantial enough for your largest ladle, this weighty spoon rest makes a handsome addition to any kitchen cart or stovetop. The arced handle is an eye-catcher, but it also keeps spoon handles high so they are easy to grab. The broad bowl has a flat bottom for stability, and its steep sides help to contain spoon splatters. Measuring 9 by 4-1/2 inches, the piece has a mirror finish that washes up beautifully in the dishwasher. --Emily Bedard

I gave this to my parents. They had been using the plastic lid of a cottage cheese container for this purpose. Their lives are much better now.

STUNNING! Simple, sturdy & solid, LARGE, VERY modern looking stainless steel utensil rest to keep your stove & countertops clean while cooking. Dishwasher safe, or cleans with a simple swipe of a soapy cloth. Looks like it'll last a lifetime. Gorgeous!

Much sturdier than I expected. Nice heavy, gleaming, functional addition to my kitchen. Well worth the price!

I have had a few spoon rests from time to time, and they were all small and (apparently) of cheap quality that I've had to dispose of them all.

THIS spoon rest, on the other hand, is huge. It's the perfect size for cooking with more than one utensil, as it easily fits 3-4 of them at the same time. (no clutter!) It's easy to clean, (a few swipes of the sponge, and it's back to its perfect shine.) solid, (no wobbling!) and beautifully made of steel. Simply put, It serves its purpose, all the while adding a sophisticated touch to any kitchen.

* Also note, someone mentioned having received the spoon with the sticker on the inside of it. I unfortunately did too, which took a while to peel off. However, with a few hot water soaks, and scrubbing (try a tooth pick to scrape the stickiness off of it...) I have to say that it's completely sticker free now, and one of my favourite purchases thus far.

Other than the stunning stainless steel finish, the thing that I like the most about the holder is the size of it. It is large enough to hold 3 or 4 utensils at once, depending upon their size. It also looks very nice sitting on your stove.

We like the stainless spoon rest. It has an attractively sleek shape, is not too small or flimsy, and is easy to clean. Think about where it will sit, though. In our case, we wanted it to sit between the four burners on our JennAir stove. The end of the spoon rest's handle slides into the slits in the stove fan grate, so the spoon rest tips up into the air. As long as you have a solid surface for the spoon rest to sit upon, it would not be a problem.
