Itz all in what you like i give tha cd 4 1/2 stars for the first LP my n*ggaz blew it down nah what i mean. letz get down 2 it there are 15 trackz not 20 all of the skitz run afta the songs and are not seperate. Out of these 15 trackz feds, freeks, spy hunter, hitmen, cheapskit, cheapskate, angel, mac daddy, aquamen, and propse a toast are the best. That is 9 good songs out of 15 the other songs are good but these have the best beats. All i can say is roc a blok is holdin it down gotta love it. Mac daddy is probably the best out of all of these trackz so listen on...

Three man storyteller group brings it...,

Most of the Tracks on STREET CINEMA are stories weaved together by Sporty Thievz. Most of the songs come off as vivid as any movie (ie: Aquamen, Angel, The Spot) Even in the originality dept, they excel (See Hitmen) Even though the production sags at certain moments, they still bring it with better rhymes than the previous tracks. But for the best track I'll say is between Cheapskate, Aquamen, and Ready...

Like Father, Like Son is a hit,

Nevermind the cinema theme in this album, it's all about the music and although I was taken by storm by "Like father, like son", the album does not offer much in form of variation, nor lyrically. Still I have to recommend it as some of the songs are really phat, but when there was a 80s weekend on MuchMusic (not that I wathced it or anything - my girlfriens was, honest) I was disappointing to find that the Thievz had borrowed some beats from some sh*tty song playing there. Nevertheless, if you know a friend who's got this album, tape the following songs off it: "Fedz", "Spy Hunter", "Like father, Like son", "Hitmen", "Angel" "Aquamen" and "Propose a toast" Although most the mainstream will probably enjoy "Freeks" and "Cheapskate" better. Word!

the only good song is cheapskate and the others just ramble on. hopefully this group can come out with another album that has the hits and beats to keep people listening to them. a single can only get you so far

Cheapskate, Sleeper Jam of the Summer of 98'...,
By A Customer

The skits on this album were boring but this album did display some lyrical skills. The Zulu Chant on Cheapskate makes this the Sleeper Jam of 1998!
