This item is lightweight and durable. I've used it on several hunting trips in virtually every type of environment, i.e. hot dusty desert southwest, frozen snowy northcentral, and humid rainy southeast United States. The field of view is awesome, the low light gathering capabilites at dawn/dusk are truly impressive and clear-sharp viewing in any condition is dependable.
