Very Impressive, March 2, 2007

I remember seeing THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME and SON OF KONG when I was a kid. THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME was a pretty frightening film. Max Steiner's score sounds brilliant on this CD by William T. Stromberg. It is pretty impressive. The SON OF KONG score is more lighthearted and playful than Steiner's original KING KONG score. This CD is very good and gives you a good sampling of Max Steiner's music that he was composing during the early and mid 1930s.
