Jack Brubaker
Jack Brubaker is an investigative reporter for Lancaster (Pa.) Newspapers. He also has written The Scribbler, a newspaper column exploring the history, culture and humor of Lancaster County, for more than three decades.

He has authored a dozen historical books and magazine articles. Penn State Press published "Down the Susquehanna to the Chesapeake" in 2002. The History Press published both "Massacre of the Conestogas" and "Remembering Lancaster County" in 2010.

Brubaker was born in Bird-in-Hand in eastern Lancaster County and lives with his wife, Christine, near Millersville in western Lancaster County.
