I love this band. The CD is full of wonderful melodies and the texts are great. I'm sorry for all the people who cannot understand what "patent ochsner" sings; it's all very poetic. I love "sunnechunig" (which means "sunking") and "w.nuss vo bümplitz". But I'd say nearly every song is absolutely great!! As more as you listen to this CD the more you'll like it!!

i bought this album before moving to switzerland to try and get an ear for swiss german. i grew to love it and even sing along when i'm alone in my car. thoughtful lyrics and great tunes - a super feel-good album. an additional bonus - the liner notes on the inside have high-german translations so it can be used as a learning tool as well. kudos!

You got to love these lyrics! Although the styles differ throughout the album, the writing is solid. I love the "sunnechoenig". Very nice.

Great Swiss-German Group, September 10, 2007

Patent Ochsner has a really great sound with much variety and complexity in their musical styles. Even if you're not fluent in the Swiss-German language, you will still enjoy the melodies. Songs are written with both whimsical and serious lyrics.
