I am fairly new to this stuff, I started doing henna tattoos on my feet and hands last summer. This is hard stuff! This book was full of great designs. It is not a book of stencils, please dont buy it if that is what you are looking for. If you are looking for ideas, and designs- this is a top knotch book for you!

I got thrown off by the use of the word stencil in the book title. This isn't a book of stencils, it's a book of clip art. :(

If you are expecting to receive actual stencils, you will be disappointed (as was I!). These are only printed pages (and printed on both sides, what's more). You will have a ton of work if you want to try and transfer these designs to anything, especially since most of them are so intricate and detailed. Let me know if you find the REAL stencils!

This book has many beautiful stencil designs in it. It is definitely useful for any artist looking for India designs.

Well I was looking forward to receiving this, but was very disappointed when I found no actual "stencils". I had to do some online research to find out that what you're actually supposed to do is take the desired "stencil" and, after applying some eucalyptus oil to the desired area, set it on your skin and apply some pressure. Wait 10-15 seconds and you will have a black outline on your skin that can be used as a guide.

this book has nice Indian inspired stencil designs. These are designs meant to use for making stencils, as the title indicates.

i thought i was getting stencils not stuff printed on paper! oh well its fine for that price and i think i can figure out how to use it with my henna stuff.

This book consists of small motifs and patterns. While the patterns are nice they are just black and white pictures. I wanted precut stencils which I could use to decorate. This book is for those who can use these patterns to perhaps make their own stencils. Not what I expected or wanted.

Actually this book is not a stencil book but it's very inspiring if you're intrested in Indian motifs.I used some of the designs in my authentic graphics.

the book is really cool it is very useful art. the artist has used really original ideas never sen before.we need to have more titles (new) from the artist.
