We bought this for our oldest daughtyer 3 years ago when she was 1 and she still has not tired of it and its in great condition. Now, our one year old plays on it too. However, you need to supervise older children on it who might rock too hard/fast, because it can roll forward, knocking them off!

My daughter received the Angelfish Rocker for her first "real" Christmas (14 months). It has been a wonderful addition to our family. She has never been bored with it; it's light weight, so you can bring it inside in the winter, and it's thin enough that it doesn't take up too much space in the playroom! Not only has it been used by our daughter, but we have also added twins to our family who are now 16 months old. They LOVE this toy, especially our boy. He is a little monkey and loves to climb on everything! Someone previously wrote a review stating that this toy tips and is top-heavy, but the only time we have had a problem with that was when our boy twin was playing on it inapproperately. THIS IS A WONDERFUL TOY, A WONDERFUL PURCHASE AND I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT IT!!!

I have used this toy in a daycare setting and found it to be unsafe. It was constantly tipping over when the rider would rock back and forth.

I purchased this for my grand-daughter when she was about 8 months old. We would hold her on it, and she would play peek-a-boo. Now, she is 28 months, and absolutley loves it! She has never tipped it over, in spite of being an agressive rocker. I love that it is so lightweight, and slim. We move it from inside to outside. It's a great toy for Nana's house!!

My child is 17 months old, and has out grown several rocking type toys. Unfortunately this rocking fish is way to narrow for it's height, it's top heavy. On the one and only day my child tried to play with it, she toppled it over 3 times while trying to get in it. While trying to pull herself into the thing, the light weight of the unit causes the child to pull it over. This toy has not been well designed for a toddler.

I pulled this off the shelf in the store when we were looking at ride-on toys and gave it to my kid to play with. He's 20 1/2 months now, I'd say he was between 18 and 19 months then. Well the kid in the pic looks happy enough but my kid likes to sort of lean forward and hyperactively rock his stuff... so the arc of this thing kept smacking him in the head! He's big/tall for his age I guess (nearly 34 inches at his 18 month appointment I thin) but he's not overly large for the age range of this product. I can't believe he's the only child that would have this problem. The design seems cute but unnecassarily cumbersome.

A neighbor has given us her boys outgrown little tikes green rocking pony. I believe this item has been more or less replaced with a rocking blue dog. It's open and simple and my boy has been having a blast on that. I suggest going that route instead. (I believe it costs less, too.)

I'm sure there are a lot of kids who have fun with this toy but going with the more open option seems like it would be better for more kids.

My daughter was 16months when she got this- she thought it was cool but didnt really do much with it intill recently-she will be 2 in july and she plays with it alot now - its just soo cute!!

Fun rocker for older toddlers/preschoolers but a bit hard to drill in screws.

A less expensive alterative if you don't want to buy a more costly plush or wooden horse rocker.

My daughter (18 months old) absolutely loves this rocking fish. The night we received it she hopped right on and started rocking. She's been on it every day since!!!! Definetly worth the $$$.

Bought this for my 18 month old after I saw her using the same one at school and fighting the other kids over it. Very durable and easy to put together. Very fun and safe. We have had no tipping over issues or her hitting her head while rocking. She even adventures out and tries riding it backwards sometimes. Great toy.
