My daughter is 2 years old and at first I thought it would be too big for her only to find out she was able to ride it with no problems. I also thought it would be too fast for her since it was her first battery operated ride-on. But she proved me wrong. It's like a treat to her. when her dad comes home from work he allows her to ride it down a couple of blocks with him following quickly beside her. The only thing he suggested is a helmet for safety procaution. But she really seems to enjoy it and we get a kick watching her ride it. It came pretty much assembled which was really nice to avoid the fustration of putting such a large item together. I'm very happy I made the choice to buy one and I do strongly recommend it to my other family members.

This was a gift for my Daughter's 2nd birthday and she enjoys it. I love to see her riding her own little battery operated toy that she is in control of. When she rides it her face lights up and glows. We haven't had any problems out of this little rider and continue to let others know about the great experinces we have had with it.

We bought this for my daughter for her 2nd birthday. It is the best 6 volt ride-on toy I found. I did a lot of research and most of the little ride-on for 2-3 year old's were either too small(her knee's hit the handlebars and she is very petite), too slow (they wouldn't go in the grass or up any slopes also only 2 mph). This one is the perfect size for a 2 year old and I think she will fit on it for a couple of more years. It say's up to age 5 or 6 and up to 50lb's. We were going to get her a barbie jeep but they were just too big for her she couldn't even reach the peddal's.The Pro's: -Great size for 2-4 year old's -Great speed 3.5mph (Fast enough you need a little helmet if riding on cement) -Light enough (you can pick it up with one hand to put it back in the garage) -Cute color for little girl pink & purple -Very durable -Battery stay's charged forever. (We only have charged it the first time and she has rode it for about 3 hours and 29 day's later it is still going strong) -Goes on our grass and small rock area fine (sometime's we have to give it just a little nudge to keep it going in these areas) -Good price $99 from Sear's with free shipping at the time. The Con's: -Doesn't have adjustmeant's for speed so it could go a little slower when they are just learning. -Doesn't have a reverse. -Battery is located under the seat with only velcro holding it together. (although my daughter hasn't yet figured it out) -You can't take the battery out to charge it like on your counter, you have to hook up the charger to the bike. -Steering isn't all that great, can't make sharp turns. (fine if you have a large area for them to ride) -Assembly took longer then the 10 minutes for me. You need someone with muscle to hammer in the last bolt. About 30 minutes for me and then I had to wait untill my hubby came home to hammer the bolt. All in all I would recommend it. [...] Carly

Just got this one for my 3 year old little girl, she kept asking for one. We let her choose her own helmet and knee pads set (just in case). She sat on it and put her foot on the pedal and off she went(unfortunately without me telling her to get her foot of the pedal to stop) it was in the foyer so no harm done, she just slam in to the wall. she was a bit scared after that but I explained to her that is stears where she wants it to go and if she wants to stop she just has to take her foot off the pedal. She really likes it now. The lesson is when you introduce a new toy make sure the child knows how to use it and what to expect before letting her sit and try it out. The price is pretty fair, we have other step 2 toys and I think they are made to last.

I bought this toy for my son (the boy's version) for his 2nd birthday. It was fun for a few days...until he went head over heels on a very small slope in our yard. The toy landed on top of him, with his neck rolled and pinned under the toy. He was so terrified of it after that, he refused to get back on. It has been stored in our basement and will be sold at the next yard sale. Save your money - this toy is too tipsey for toddlers and way too fast for them to control the steering!

While my two daughters have a had their share of fun on this toy, I would highly recommend that you get a four-wheeled ride on toy. This one has tipped over on us a few times and left them in tears. If I had it to do all over again, I would definitely avoid the three-wheeler and stick with something that has more stability. If you choose to go ahead with the 3 wheeler, definitly get a helmet for your kids to wear while riding.

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old, she really loves riding it. It is a good size for her and she can control it suprisingly well. It has alot of power when fully charged, I can even get on the back and she rides me up and down the driveway. The only thing is it does not have a reverse.

I BOUGHT TWO PINK POWER RACERS. AND ONE OF THEM THE BATTRY WAS BROKE UPON ARRIVAL. I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND WAS SUPPOSE TO GET A REPLACEMENT. BUT HAVE NEVER GOT IT. THEN I ASKED FOR RETURN SLIPS AND NEVER GOT THEM. SO YOU SEE MY DAUGHTERS HAVE NEVER GOT TO RIDE THEM AND I BOUGHT THEM FOR CHRISTMAS. I FEEL LIKE THIS IS NOT FAIR TO MY CHILDREN. SO IF YOU ARE A GOOD COMPANY AND STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCTS. PLEASE SEND US A NEW BATTERY FOR A PINK POWER RACER STEP 2. THANKS A LOT.
