I purchased this climber for my 21 month old Son. He LOVES it!!! He gets a big kick out of climbing up and sliding down. It seems to fascinate him that he can climb up the steps in the back or either of the rock climbing walls. I love it too, because when it's nice outside, he can climb on this- and not on everything in the house. lol I would highly reccomend this to anyone- especially for those active toddlers. But stay within arm's reach of the small kids! I looked into all of the climbers with slides, and I especially like this one because it has a nice sized platform that the kids can play on. If you look carefully, not all of them are that way, in fact... it can be pretty easy for falls to happen on the others because if the kids take one step back- they fall off. Notice on this one, the opening for the stairs does NOT line up with the slide, which I think is much safer.

When I was shopping around for a climber/slide combo for my two year old son, all I wanted to know was, "Can I put this together by myself?"My husband is currently in Iraq and I'm a nightmare when it comes to tools, so I had to choose wisely. This ended up being a great choice. All the pieces snap together fairly easily and I didn't need to bother any of the neighbors for help. It's not stated in the directions, but I did use a rubber mallet to make the connections tighter and that made all the difference in the world. I did not pre-drill the holes for the four screws as others here have. However, had I known about that little tip, I would have. Thirty minutes after I received this delivery, I had it set up and my son was playing on it. Perfect! [...]

We just brought home this climber. My 18 month old loves it. It took my husband 20 minutes to set up. He says it was really easy only 4 screws. Everything else snapped in place. My son kept climbing up and sliding down for hours. He can also "rock climb" one side. I like the fact that the other "rock climb" side is more challenging so he can grow into the toy. It also looks like a fort and has a steering wheel so he can pretend play later. Also, this toy is compact which saves space in our basement. Excellent toy!
