bad,
By A Customer
This review is from: Step Aerobics/Low Impact Aerobics [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This workout consisted of two 30 minute workouts, one step aerobics and the other regular aerobics. The camera work was very bad. I couldn't tell what the arms or legs were doing when the instructor changes moves because I can only see parts of the body. The two ladies in the back couldn't anticipate what the instructor was doing either at times. Bad cueing. I consider myself an intermediate level exerciser and I did not find either workouts challenging.

I owned this video until it broke. It has two segments: one is a step aerobics workout that steadily builds in exertion. The second one does the same and offers a surprisingly effective, cardiovascular experience. You can do them separately, but I like the full hour and the variety. There are no abs, which would have been great, but I just use another ab workout at the end.Janet L. Parkhurst

I've used this video as part of my exercise routine for years. The step portion has basic moves that you should be able to master within the first couple of viewings. The second segment (which is the same as in the video "Great Body Low Impact Aerobics") is challenging and recommended only if you can do some high impact aerobic exercise - she works up to running in place for a few minutes, effectively turning the routine into an interval one. Until I was able to start hopping around I easily ignored her's by substituting low impact marching. Overall, the moves in both segments are basic, non-dancey and easy to learn, making this a good video for beginners and also intermediates who can perform some high impact exercise comfortably.
