"Hurricane" Jay LaBoy and In Step are truly great musicians, and their bebut CD, Step Aside, is not only a tribute to their influences but a testament of their skill and talent. Jay has come a long way from his hopeful beginnings, and his hard work and dedication to the music rings loud and clear in his astonishing guitar playing, as well as his singing. Michael Quintero-Moore lends a wonderful flavor with his bass and his vocals, especially in his delightfully enjoyable song "i ain't cryin' (i got my money in my shoe)". And no band would be complete without a great drummer, a job which Glenn Webb lives up to. With all original songs, this CD truly shows the greatness of this excellent band of musicians (though seeing them live is, indeed, a greater proof), and is a treat for even those typically not blues fanatics.

This Cd is wonderful, you will hear many infuences here,and their live shows are absolutely awesome, "Hurricane" Jay Laboy not only is a very talented song writer,but man that Boy play's a mean Guitar as well, A must have CD! You won't be disappointed.

A very good collection of music from one of the best bands around. The CD doesnt do justice to a live performance, if you get the chance, catch a show!
