This is a detailed book that goes step-by-step allowing you to learn to tie your own halters and lead ropes. The pictures are clear and the wording is concise. We have used this book for our 4H club with great success. It is super easy to follow, even for kids. There is a lot of extra information and the book has a nice "personal" touch. I give this book two stars based on my need and appreciation for good detail. This book is ok but it doesn't have the detailed pictures and instructions that are offered in Halter Tying Success, by Diane Longanecker. The price of Longaneckers book is higher but for someone wanting to start their own halter making business the higher price if far worth it. If you just...

This is a detailed book that goes step-by-step allowing you to learn to tie your own halters and lead ropes. The pictures are clear and the wording is concise. We have used this book for our 4H club with great success. It is super easy to follow, even for kids. There is a lot of extra information and the book has a nice "personal" touch. This is a great book for beginner halter tying methods.

This book is ok but it doesn't have the detailed pictures and instructions that are offered in Halter Tying Success, by Diane Longanecker. The price of Longaneckers book is higher but for someone wanting to start their own halter making business the higher price if far worth it. If you just want to make the occasional halter then this book will do.

The book is short, but has lots of pictures and step-by-step instructions. It's easy to follow the pictures to make the horse halter.
