If you can only buy one ska cd today, this oughtta be it! This definitive CD sampler from Orange County's Ska Parade radio show is dy-no-mite! I'm buying another copy of it, because it was so cool, someone stole my copy when I left it at work. This packed CD features Sublime when they were still a ska band as well as hilarious promos featuring (no kidding) The Jerky Boys, Mr. T. And Mindy's Dad from the lovably wack t.v. show Mork & Mindy.This is one of the most versatile CD's I have owned- even people who don't know much about ska love the catchy riffs and infectious grooves.

The Ska Parade has been the backbone of "3rd Wave Ska" & other genres. "Step On It..." is cuttin' edge & captures the raw energy and personality of the bands. The exclusive, live Sublime songs on this cd were the catalyst for Sublime's success! One of my favorite cds along w/ the "The Ska Parade: Runnin' Naked Thru The Cornfield" cd. MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION - BUY BOTH COMPS!!!!!!!!

True SoCal flavor! Orange, Riverside, and LA county bands rock on this CD: some old school, some new. Check out Ocean 11, Sublime, The Skeletones, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and Skankin' Pickle. If you like ska, and want release from many of the bubble-gum sounding ska bands out now, pick this up.
