The information in this book would be good for someone who has never owned any kind of fish before, but it is all very basic. Not alot on guppies in particular, really. It has lots of pictures, but rarely tells you what they are of, such as what the color is called, etc. It is long-winded and goes on and on about most subjects. I have never owned guppies, but do have other fish, and I found it to be boring, and I really didn't learn a thing.

I can see why it is out of print...
