Here is another nice Eddie Rabbitt album.
This one was released in the middle of a string of number one hits in the early 80's.
Three songs topped the charts from the album.
The first two went to #1, and the third landed at the #2 spot.
The b-sides of those three are also included in this great album.

1. "Step by step", b/w "My only wish", 1981.
2. "Someone could lose a heart tonight" b/w "Nobody love me like my baby", 1981.
3. "I don't know where to start" b/w "Skip-a-beat", 1982.

The first 2 hits are easily found, the problem arises if you would like the 3rd hit,
which I do, but seems you can only find it on this one c.d.
That may have something to do with the higher price!
Well, for now I will keep listening to my vinyl, true it's not as handy,
but it will do for now.
This is good, easy listening country music.

This was the first album that I had from Eddie Rabbitt. If you like his style then you would like this CD, it represents the very best of Eddie Rabbitt same goes for his album Horizon.

i was in college when i first heard eddie rabbit's "step by step" i immediately went out and bought the album {cassette, that is}. i couldn't get enough of this album. my absolute favorite song was: "someone could lose a heart tonight" the only thing i disliked about this album was none of the songs were long enough, particularly "someone could lose a heart tonight" however i did find this album to be very romantic. each song took me away from the world of studying and into a dreamland of fantasy, every time i listened to it. for all of you eddie rabbit fans, you will not go wrong with this one.

I hadn't listened to any Eddie Rabbitt music in a while, it's 2009 now, and was thinking lately it was time I had again. I'm so glad I pulled out this one! Great album, very similar in style to Horizon. "Bring Back The Sunshine" is a very sweet melodic song. "I Don't Know Where To Start" is a very touching love song. A number of songs here pick up the beat a bit and make for great listening, like "Dim Dim The Lights", "Someone Could Lose A Heart Tonight" (my favorite on the album), "Nobody Loves Me...". Not to mention the title song. This is a real must have. If you only plan on a couple of Eddie Rabbitt albums in your collection, go for this one and Horizon.

The only 2 records that I owned as a child that have not been remade into a CD were Horizon and Step by Step. Over 600 CD's. I even recorded the original LP's into a minidisc, however, no way to play on my mp3 player or in my car. Well, thanks to someone that made these into MP3's I want to say thank you for finally making them MP3's. I really thought about sending them off to have them digitally converted over the years, but a studio wanted over $100 to do this.
