All the info you need to make your own Nativity set,
By
This review is from: Step by Step Christmas Creche (Paperback)
This is a great little book that gives supply lists and clear illustrations for you to make a Christmas Nativity set using pipe cleaners, wooden beads and fabric scraps. It includes instructions for Mary, Joseph, innkeeper, angel, 3 Wise Men, baby Jesus, shepherds, sheep, camels, donkey, ox, palm trees, star and stable. Because you have to twist pipe cleaners and wrap yarn to cover, children will need help doing the projects in this book.

This review is from: Step by Step Christmas Creche (Paperback)
My son was required to make a creche as part of a school assignment. I searched long and hard to find a method that a boy would execute well without being either bored or overwhelmed. This book was perfect. The instructions are extremely simple and the visuals were a great bonus. I was pleasantly surprised that something this simple looked so great. All the materials were easy to source - many being things I already had at home eg fabric scraps, beads, buttons and yarn. I bought some more yarn where I wanted to match colours, the chenille sticks and raffia. I would recommend to anyone attempting to make a creche where a child is the actual crafter. This turned out fabulously!
