Good for beginning LASIK surgeons, October 1, 2006
This review is from: Step by Step LASIK Surgery (Hardcover)
This is an excellent textbook for beginning LASIK surgeons, including ophthalmology residents and surgeons new to the procedure. It has many helpful, practical parts, including even a sample consent form. The review is thorough, and gives much information on current technology. Unfortunately, the editing (at least in the edition I read, which I think was earlier than this edition) is terrible. A good high school English teacher should have been hired to clean up the grammar, at the least. Most of the editing problems can be overlooked, but a few (such as a mis-statement of the Munnerlyn formula) could cause the reader serious misunderstandings. Overall, a good book, and probably the best out there for getting started.
