Teddy Geiger has an amazing, sort of "mellow and soothing" voice and he can play his own instruments-the guitar and the piano-a definite plus. He totally sounds like John Mayer (note the title of this review), and he is not one of those "pop-y" (if you want to call them that) boys. His sound is-I don't know if this makes sense, but he sounds mature. I melt for any guy that can play the guitar and Teddy Geiger is one of them; if I could listen to him play and sing his catchy songs all day, well that would be just completely awesome. If you like the John Mayer genre, you will definitely like listening to Teddy Geiger and you should buy his music.

6 well written songs with memorable lyrics and vocals. My favorite cuts are Try too Hard,(excellent intro), Confidence and Million Years. For a first try, he got it all right. Looking foward to his full CD, Underage Thinking.

Even though this is only an EP CD, it is INCREDIBLE. Teddy's voice is simply amazing. Buy this CD and listen to it, and I guarantee, you'll love it instantly and listen to it over and over again. Teddy's music just pulls you in. Keep your eyes out for his CD coming out in the fall...it's called "Underage Thinking"

I highly suggest buying this album. teddy geiger is an amazing singer songwriter and is only 16. he is from rochester, ny and was just signed to columbia records. he was also on VH1 the Partridge Family: Battle of the Keiths. he is opening for hillary duff this summer and is an amazing kid! (...)

Teddy Geiger's EP "StepLadder" is great, I can't listen to it enough. He writes his music with such an intelligent, relatable style. I'm middle aged and my daughter and I are equally smitten with this kid's talent. It's rare to find a timeless talent such as his. I had the pleasure of meeting him recently and he is every bit as real as his songs. What a genuinely nice guy.

I actually prefer this EP to the newer CD that he released. The sound in this one is purer, less produced and more like the coffee shop relaxed style that I imagine Teddy being in his New York hometown.

Teddy Geiger is so amazing! I saw him on tour this summer with Hilary Duff and Tyler Hilton (check him out, too!). For being only 16, his voice is completely mature. I had the pleasure of meeting him and he couldn't have been any nicer! I love all of the songs on here especially, "A Million Years" ! Def. buy it and see him on tour sometime!

i actually caught wind of this guy by watching cbs's "love monkey". it amazes me that this kid is so young and manages to create something so mature. he stands out head and shoulders above the others in his age group...be sure to check out the song "love is a marathon". i can't wait to see what he does when he's older.

A wonderful set of 6 acoustic songs which were written and performed by Teddy Geiger, this album went out of print before "Underage Thinking" was released in March of 2006. Hard to find, but a wonderful keepsake.

For an opening cd - at this artist's age...a nice job...

Teddy Geiger has a sensative voice that is VERY easy to listen to. Not only is he good on his CD, but Live he ever sounds good, almost better! It seems as though he has a song for every mood, when your up, when your down, and when Life just doesn't seem to be going how you might wish. I recommed this cd to anyone who is interested in John Meyer, Daniel Powter, etc. This is a voice that needs to be heard god only knows how many singers out there have actual talent. It seems like everyone these days can be conisdered "a musician" but only a few actually deserve it and Teddy is one of those people. I also recommed if you ever get the chance to go to a live concert and experience his talent up close.
