We stopped in at a major toy retailer and happened upon this - I had been checking out kitchens and this was on my wishlist, and with a $10 coupon in my pocket I decided to spring for it on the spot. It is set up in our kitchen for our 19 month old who doesn't let me do a thing by myself in the kitchen. I'm hoping that I can get her playing with the kitchen while I cook. It is the perfect size and fits in decor wise with our existing kitchen, so it makes it really cute that way. It has open and close features and a phone with sounds, all already a hit with her. She's really into open and close, so she is a bit disappointed that the spice bottles that come with the set don't open (not an issue for me). We've been showing her how to shake the spices into the pot and now she's shaking them all over the house! The only improvement I would make is I wish there was a shelf in the fridge compartment. You can really only put one thing in there without one. I like the rack in the oven and we use that for storage of the pots. For now, the extras that come with the set (cutlery, plates, spoons, some food and spices) are good for us and we don't need the extra food items until she's really into experimenting and playing more often with the kitchen. It is big enough for two to play, and at 19 months she can reach the stuff on the back shelf, but she'll fit this for a while. One recommendation for set up - on the burner that makes sounds, we've had this for less than 24 hours and already had to take the burner out twice because the batteries come loose, so before you screw it together, just get some masking tape to keep those bad boys secure and you'll be all set. The screws for the burner are a bit tough to get in and out, so it is a pain that there isn't a cover to keep the batteries secure. Other than that, we're happy with our purchase and foresee lots of fun (and hopefully mom can resume cooking in her kitchen, too!).

Our two year old loves this kitchen. Though there are others with more bells and whistles, she likes the "bubbling" pans and "working" phone. The accessories are very cute. The neutral colors are preferable to us as they are unisex and makes the kitchen look more realistic (and doesn't look ridiculous in our house). Though it is the perfect height for her now it may be a little short for a 4 or 5 year old. I think the assembly would be impossible for one person to do alone. My very strong husband had to hold it together as I put the screws in. I think without him it would not have gone together properly. Make sure you follow directions. Not a steal but not too bad a price either; I would buy it again.

Got this for my 15 month old son. Perfect for his height. He loves to pretend cook. Keeps him busy while we r in kitchen.Burner makes realistic frying sound when frying pan is placed on it and boiling sound when saucepan or coffee thing is placed on it. It even lights up. My son also loves to play with phone that makes sounds when buttons are pressed. Oven and refrigerator are small but he still likes opening and closing them and sticking things into them. Perfect little kitchen for small spaces. Bought more pretend food items for the set since it does not come with very much.

I got this kitchen for my daughter when she was 4 1/2 and she is 5 1/2 now. She isn't taller than the kitchen because she is real small for her age. She loves this play kitchen and calls it her Olive Garden restaurant. It really needs a silverware drawer but my daughter uses the trays that come with it. I also think that the fridge could be a little bit bigger and I don't care for the brown, but my daughter likes it and that's what matters. She loves the spices, phone, pepper mill the best and she likes the stickers on the arch of the kitchen. If you want to buy your child a restaurant kitchen, this is a great one because it comes with alot. We were going to get the 5o's diner kitchen but didn't want to spend that much and didn't have the room, so this one worked out great since it's a cafe kitchen and goes at the end of her bed. Be sure to put the faucet on first before you put the screws on the arch because one of our screws fell in the faucet hole when we were putting a screw in the arch but the directions didn't say to put it on yet, but I was able to get that screw out of the hole with masking tape stuck on a pencil. I love the arch design on this adorable little kitchen. Great for any little girl or boy who loves to pretend to cook or play restaurant. LOL

We got this for my daughter for Christmas, we ordered it online with a gift card. It's really, really small compared to other play kitchens I've seen in stores. It isn't that great quality wise, and was a pain to put together. The stickers were messed up during shipping and the kitchen was scratched up during shipping as well. Our 3 year old and 1 year old both have great fun playing with it together, as all kids would with any kitchen. The burners make cute noises, but we had to take the batteries out of the phone as it would go off constantly day and night without stopping. My 3 year old is probably going to outgrow it within a year because of how short it is. With our gift card, a discount, and free shipping, it was worth the $15 we paid for it, but that's all I would ever pay for this. Definitely think twice about it if you have to pay full price.

I bought this one because of all the POSITIVE reviews from other buyers, but I did not agree with everyone, at all. I think it was an eye sore compared to other kitchens out there. This kitchen seemed much cheaper made than the other kitchens. The stickers provided were all messed up from the shipping. It's a very short and small kitchen, the counter space is the same as other kitchens when other reviews said it had more space. I know this because i bought a few kitchens at the same time (knowing I was going to return most, just keeping 1) so I could compare in person. Overall, the appearance was poor. I wouldn't recommend this kitchen.
