-Lacking diagrams and Clear Recipes,
By A Customer
This review is from: Step-By-Step Compo and Mold Making (Paperback)
This book seems to provide complete information, though anecdotal, about compo- production and molding. The lack of clear diagrams is a disadvantage, too. The author obviously knows the ins and outs of compo, but could have presented it in clearer fashion - with diagrams, times, temperatures, recipes, and lists, rather than narratives and warnings. It is hard to find exactly the infomration you need without digging into the text. Also, an index would have been very helpful. Overall, the only book I have found that reveals the composition of various compo formulae, so is valuable in that regard.

This review is from: Step-By-Step Compo and Mold Making (Paperback)
You don't have to look any further for anything you need to know about compo. Everything is in this book right down to the smallest detail. I almost didn't buy this book because of other reviews, but after receiving it, I knew exactly why other reviews were written. And that was to keep the secret of compo a secret. This book was also written so beautifully. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT BOOK.
