I got this book for my intro to photography classes I've been teaching. My students are mostly moms and dads who simply want to learn the basics of camera operation, functions, settings, and a few techniques. This book was helpful to everyone in my class because it's full of pictures, with just enough words to get the point across. A truly good basic photography book. Highly recommended!

This really breaks down the digital camera, and what all those different settings are really for. It's like a user friendly user manual, perfect for the young, and 'green', photographer. My neice was very excited, and has really enjoyed highlighting and tagging different sections of the book.

This book is for someone who has never held a camera before.
I paid $30 for this small book, it is stamped usa $14.95 what a rip off.
