Step-by-Step Medical Coding takes a practical approach to training students for a career in medical coding. It begins with an introduction to Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), followed by in-depth explanations of the sections found in the CPT manual. I just got word I passed my certification examination and used this book to prepare along with the certification review. It was easy to follow and had all the answers in the back of the book. I really learned a lot.
