It was easy to assemble - took my son about 20 minutes, and quick to fill. 2 year old and 4 year old have had a lot of fun with it.

Couple of problems: the slide doesn't stay fitted onto the edge of the pool, which frustrates all of us! and if there is more than an inch or so of water in the pool, the roundabout floats off. Pouring water onto the top of the 'tree' makes the swings rotate only if they are very carefully positioned.

So the pool, boats, people etc. are fine but the larger accessories need more thought in their design.

Wonderful toy for a three year old from the kid's point of view, but the construction makes it impossible to clean. Water accumulates in the island shape (that is attached to the main toy by a large screw) and even when we emptied the toy each day, algae and other unappealing things grew in the island and would leak out bit by bit into the main water area. It took me a while to figure out what the problem was. I finally took the whole thing apart and cut three large drainage holes in the bottom of the island with a knife (the underside where it doesn't show) and cleaned it out with bleach and a bottle brush. Hopefully that will keep things from growing down there in the future. It is an example of lack of product testing in a real life environment. Too bad, because the overall concept was lots of fun, the people, boats, etc. were a great addition for imaginative play. It's not a question of durability or educational value (as per star categories), but complete lack of foresight of design feasibility over more than one time use. As a UX design person (and someone who likes kids' toys to be cleanable), both surprising and disappointing.

I think that a kid is happy just splashing in water. You'd honestly be better off with a small pool (Intex Recreation Swim Center Family Pool, Age 6+) or a concrete mixing tub (Maccourt AT2606 26"x20"x6" Plastic Utility Tub) and tossing in some rubber duckies (Rubber Duck). Costs less and not as frustrating.

Assembly: Easy - 25 minutes. The instructions would have been so much easier with color pictures. Everything was designed as to be impossible to assemble incorrectly.

Quality: Decent, but lots of parts that fit poorly or don't work at all. See my photos. The diving board pops out. The slide is off-center, crooked and too short. The paddle wheels on the tree don't move when the water hits them. The monkey moves too far back and the spinner is out of the water. Unless the thing is PERFECTLY level, the water features will not work correctly.

Sure it will keep the kids entertained for a while, but so will a bucket of water and a rubber duck.

Our 20 month old loves water. Any water. So far he's ignoring mostly everything but putting the little people down the slide and dumping water onto the ground. He isn't strong enough yet to pump the geyser but I imagine he'll get several years of fun out of this as he grows older.

Cons:

The plug leaks. We put a 2 quart pitcher underneath to catch the water and it filled up about an inch worth's of water in 2 hours.

The manufacturer DIDN'T DRILL HOLES IN THE PLASTIC for where the legs attach to the table. We fixed this by drilling holes with a power drill but still, wtf. That's a major oversight and hence, annoyance.

We got it on sale for $60 and I wouldn't pay more than that for it.

Present for grandson's 3rd birthday. He absolutely loves it! Chose this one because of the number of additional toys/areas to play as opposed to others offered.

My kids LOVE water tables. We own a few, I thought this would be a great addition and more activities and big enough to share with 3 children. Well, the size is definitely right but that's kind of where it ends. This water table is not very deep. For as much water as it takes to fill it, it is not really deep enough to cover the passageways. Thebtoys constantly pop off which leaves demands for it to be put back on and a minute later.. Repeat. For a toy to that is suppose to occupy kids.. This doesn't fit the bill. My kids like to use the pump but it really does not work well. My kids tend to use the much simpler and deeper step 2 water table that has the simple water wheel. For the money, this is a bit of a loss.

When I bought this I assumed my grandson would love it but I had no idea it would become a favorite! He would spend all day playing if the weather would cooperate! Best purchase ever

We purchased this water toy for our daughter when she was two, now she is 4 and she has loved and played with this toy every summer, all summer and it is excited to play with it again and again. The little people are so much fun with the accessories. It cleans up well and has minimal fading after hrs and hrs in the sun. My son who is now 2 also enjoys this table. the water pump feature is an added bonus of splashy fun as well! I would definitely recommend and if needed would purchase this table again!
