This baby flies!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Step2 Motorcycle (Toy)
Our dare devils LOVE their motorcycles!! We ordered two, one for our 2 yr old and one for our 3 yr old. They both have a blast racing up and down our driveway. This toy flies, and goes much faster downhill than any toy we have had. We have not had an issue with stability as stated in other reviews. It is important to consider toys for children, not always by age, but individual development. Great toy, thanks step 2!!

It's useless, the front will does not turn. The product have a pretty good feedback, I red some of them, but nobody pointed that NO TURN FRONT WHEEL out. I did not pay attention, when I purchased it. DO NOT BUY IT!!!

This little motorcycle is cute. However, it's very lightweight and is similar in quality to a ride-on toy that could be purchased for much less at any discount retailer. The stickers do seem to be of high quality and to date, none have peeled off. The extreme shipping price added another $10 to the $19.99 price tag. This is definately not a $30 toy.

My son got this for his second birthday and it is his absolute favorite toy ever! Next week is his THIRD birthday and he still plays with it every single day. He rides it in the house, outside down our sloped driveway and even takes it to the park. We actually had to make trails for him in the woods so he could go off-road with it! This toy definitely gets 5 stars in my book! It does sit a little high, but that makes it PERFECT for someone his age.

Beware: NOT a typical ride-on toy,

I wish I hadn't purchased this toy. IT IS A 2-WHEEL CONFIGURATION-NOT A TRICYCLE OR 4-WHEELER. It tips over very easily when they pick up their feet to push. My daughter fell over and hit her head on the wall. Right now it resides in a closet. It says for 1-3 yr olds. My daughter is average height. At 20 months she can still just barely reach the floor. I called Step-2 and they told me this is intended as a "walker" toy-not a ride-on!! I don't know what value this toy could possibly have in teaching a child to walk. Besides, most 1-3 yr olds can already walk. This toy is really cute and maybe if your child has NEVER been on another ride-on toy then maybe you could teach him to use this one--well supervised. I'm returning ours.

I bought this for my 2yr old grandson for his birthday so he could have a motorcycle like his Grandma. He LOVED it! The wheels are wide enough to keep it from tipping and it's light enough and just the right size to throw in the car to take along. He has to make his own "motor noise", but that's a plus in my book. No batteries to replace or noises to annoy! Also his very tall 3 1/2 year old brother can ride it comfortably, so I look for it to last a long time.

Step 2 is a fantastic brand, slowly climbing up the ladder alongside Fisher Price, Little Tikes etc.
My kid loves motorcycle's, so what better toy to buy than his own ride-on motorcycle! This toy is extremely durable. It might take kids a while to get used to balancing the bike, so that it doesn't topple over - but scrapes and bruises are part of growing up! The bike is a little taller than I thought it would be, which meant that my child was on tiptoes for the first couple of months - but its a strong, cheap and exciting toy for any kid.

I decided to purchase this bike despite negative reviews. You have to know your kid before you buy this, my son is two and would not recommend this to any younger child. Although he did fall off a few times he got right back on till he got the hang of it. It's a light toy so the childs weight could be a factor in children falling off. If you ride or your spouse rides I think it's a great first motorcycle for a kid to practice.........

Poor design,

I went with all of the positive reviews on Amazon about this toy & I should not have. The design of this ride on toy is extremely poor. Steering? Come on it doesn't unless the child drags it in the direction it wants to go. It is durable yes & I am quite sure it will last a very long time.
I would not suggest purchasing this ride on toy at all.

I bought this for my 17 month old daughter after seeing it on the Today Show as a best buy for toddlers. Well I was so excited to get it and when we got it it was a total flop! My daughter is very tall for her age (33 inches) and it still did not work well for her, it also TIPS very easily. The description says "sturdy" it was anything but that. She did not even get to go outside with it because she kept falling on the tile inside. We took it back and got a 4 wheeled scooter..much more stable. I am sure that this is a wonderful for toy for ages 2+ but it is not safe for the younger ones...in my opinion.
