Make sure you ask yourself this question before you buy this item. It is really cute, but it is certainly not a dresser. It is a storage unit. It is small, a really good size for a small TV stand or a bedside table (especially if you have a big Little Tikes car bed.) There are 4 cupboard type doors that open to one compartment which is separated by one shelf about midway. It does not come with any bins to better utilize the space inside, so if you want to put anything that does not stack easily you may need to buy some containers. We are using it for a bedside table and will keep books, etc inside. It is well made, but the plastic top and shelf are not extremely flat. You can literally pull it out of the box and it is fully assembled, all we had to do was to put the decal stickers on. [...].

Very Cute But Not Very Well Made.,
This review is from: Step2 Tool Chest Dresser (Baby Product)
I thought this was the cutest thing to go with my sons car bed. We purchased and received by UPS. Hardly anything to assemble just put on the stickers and the "rollers" and you're done. Our middle shelf inside seems alittle messed up. Almost like something heavy was set on it and it drops down a little. Not flat but the top is fine and doors shut okay. I probably would have sent it back but my son would not have let it leave the house. My son loves it. I would purchase again. Very cute. We use it for toys not clothes. I wish I would have found it sooner.

I just bought this tool chest for my son today. I have been thinking about getting it for about a week so I went ahead and bought it today. He really loves it. I think it is great! It is something different and really cool for little boys. I put his tv on top which fit great. I also had plenty of room inside for X box and direct tv box. Also some extra room for books and movies. I would recommend this for any little boy. I think it is great!

I purchased this Tool Chest Dresser for my grandsons bedroom that is decorated in a Car Theme. It is so cute and holds a lot of his things. It can be used to hold clothes but he uses it to hold his toys.
He is three years old and loves this thing and it looks so cute with his blue car bed. The dresser comes already assembled and all you have to do is put the stickers on. It is sturdy and well worth the money. Trust me you will love it.

Nothing about this is a dresser. Shame on me for not reading the reviews and description more. We bought this dresser for our 18 month old sons car room. I'm not thrilled with my purchase, but because we had free giftcards/credit I'm not hassling with returning it. I bought this with intent to use it to store my sons clothes and upon reading and seeing there is NO drawers in it at all. It has 1 shelf. The only way I would personally use this as a dresser is if it had some sort of containers, my son would open those doors and rip the clothes out in about 2.2 seconds and for $90 I'm not about to stick it somewhere he can't see it.
I am disappointed in the over all quality. Although it seems like it would be sturdy it is not. The top portion of the dresser has a backing screwed onto it where as the bottom portion is all one piece. I don't quite understand THAT design element. The doors on the front don't click shut, something isn't lining up properly. It arrived absolutely filthy. Straight out of the box it was covered in dust. I will say this, my son absolutely loves it and keeps putting his toys in it. We will be using it as a toy storage bin (which doesn't thrill me since our $7 Tupperware bin was doing the trick JUST FINE!) and now I am on the hunt for a REAL dresser. I am most disappointed in the way this is advertised as a dresser. As I said, shame on me for not reading more in depth before I purchased and I will say this: had I used MY money to purchase this, it would be going back and had I read more about it I would not have purchased it in the first place. I would only suggest this product to someone who intends to use it for a toy storage area NOT a dresser.

We added this "dresser" to the Cars motif bedroom that my son (2 years old) absolutely loves!
Like others who have reviewed it, we found it is really not appropriate for use as a dresser, but the two storage shelves of the unit are great for a lot of his toys, books, and has also become his hiding place where he "disappears" from Mommy and Daddy, then bursts out with "Here I Am!"... a game he loves. The unit is fully assembled in the shipping box, and only requires sticker placement. As for durability and design, we have not seen the problems others have mentioned. The doors fit perfectly; open and close appropriately. The shelves are strong and as mentioned earlier, fully support my son's 35lbs weight, though that certainly was not intentioned by the manufacturer. The top is also strong but is not a flat surface (Looks like wide tire tread or pickup toolbox), so placing anything that requires careful balance (like some lamps) may not be the best idea. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the unit, and more importantly, my son LOVES it. (We are purchasing the matching toy storage box, also available on Amazon). Highly recommended if your child is a "Cars / Lightning McQueen" fanatic like ours is!

Thought it was really cool... as my son is really into the whole car thing right now... seeing this pop up with the car bed made it a no-brainer. Delivery was quick and it arrived in great condition... was also very fun to place the stickers on it with my son. Made out to be a very memorable experience.

This dresser was very easy to put together (just took a few minutes). It is well built and very durable. My two year old son loves it. I don't put his clothes in it but we put small toys. There is not enough room for large toys but you can put quite a few small ones in there. I put his lamp on top. Also, the picture shows wheels, however, this product no longer comes with wheels.

This box is very cheaply made as mentioned in other reviews. My son does love it though because it goes with his room and it looks like daddy's in the garage but honestly I would never buy it again for the price it is at. The quality of the plastic is cheap and some parts are actually already faded to a different color straight out of the box, I think for around $40 this would be an okay item but not for almost $90.00. Besides the cheap quality of material it is hard to open as there are no actual handles on it and when it is closed properly 3 of the 4 doors are usually pretty difficult to open. The 4th door is much easier because it never really closes completely. If there was something similar on the market this would be returned but there's not so I guess it will get the job done for now.

This item is advertised as a dresser, but it is really a book or toy shelf with doors. It is sturdy. Holds a lot and is great for kids.
