We bought this about 3 weeks ago. It was a normal plastic product assembly (takes 2 people!) Once assembled it was sturdy (unlike a review I read on another website that said it was shakey)....it's only going to be a strong as YOU make it.....tighten all bolts before you let your kids climb on it!
Tip....use an electric screwdriver...it will be a MUCH faster assembly...Mine died halfway through the process & I cursed my husband for not putting the battery back on the charger after his last project!! Over all..my kids LOVE this! I have 5 kids ages 2 to 12. (I've got to watch my 2 year old so he doesn't jump off!)

Just as everyone else is saying, the directions are not well done, and we seemed to be missing the right size washers by the end. It is definitely a 2-person job and takes a few hours. But despite that, well worth the investment.
I thought I might be getting this too early for my 2, almost 3-year old boy, but he's taken right to the challenge and can already scale the tallest wall by himself (coming back down is a different story!) This is a great skills/coordination-building climber, and there's lots of room for him to grow with this playset to last him many years. If looking for something different than a typically swingset, this is a great option.

seems like we have more kids now, this is defiantly a great toy to work on climbing and large motor skills plus its tall enough the neighborhood kids can see and my kids get more friends to play with. Sturdy enough to hold me plus kids, 180+. The rebar that holds it in the ground is easy enough to put in and it actually keeps the thing from blowing away. 2 person build!

Solid piece of climbing equipment and wasn't too bad to put together but goes quicker with 2 sets of hands. It's pretty big and holds several kids-no problem. Makes a good fort, castle, hideout, clubhouse, etc. I'd recommend it.

Our three year old got this as a gift and LOVES it! He loves to climb his mountain and I know this will be a hit with his friends too. It's got a nice size area on the bottom that is cool for hanging out as well as 4 climbing surfaces. He can climb to the top on his own and will play on this for a long time. Our top piece came damaged so we are still waiting for the top cover. Customer service is not very easy to deal with as you cannot leave a voice mail (unless you want to order something) and they were closed early Wed (23) through the holiday. You cannot order replacement or warranty parts online. Luckily it is still usable without the missing piece.

Directions are horrible, two different "small washers" and other items are hard to distingush from the instructions. Other than than that, it went together under 3 hours (and that includes the 20 minutes it took to take apart to retrive the misused "small washer". 2.5 year old Daughter loves its and it is a nice change from the typical swing set and or club house. Step 2 really has come a long way over the years.

I was searching thru all the various items avaliable for little 2 yr old Monkey to climb on!
This one caught my eye & once I showed my husband he was sold! We put it together in just a few hours, My Daughter is 2 yrs old now & loves to crawl underneath, she isn't quite tall enough to climb up w/ out assistance but that does not prevent her from trying! Our little Monkey loves to be in the middle part, way up high! We had an old slide, my husband anchored it to a piece of wood & set it inside the opening so she can slide down once she does reach the middle. We didn't want to actually mount it, so my husband just made it heavy enough she can't move it or get hurt! There is an opening in the top/middle where older kids can pop their heads out of. This was one of the all time favorites at my daughters 2nd Birthday Party! Kids of all ages gravitated to it, both, Boys & Girls! Excellent Value for the Money & Extremely Durable, this material will last a long, long time!! Sure Beats spending $200-$300 each year for the next item that grows with her. It is recommened for ages 4-8 on the box but as soon as my daughter saw the older kids climb up she was on it at 2 years old!

Love this and so do our kids!! We saw this a year or so ago but this finally got around to buying it. We have a large yard so have swing sets, slides, sand pits, water tables, play houses and this just finished it off. It was a bit of a pain to put together in a few parts, mainly the cargo net which was about 5"s too short and we really had to man handle it and took 3 of us to stretch them to get them on with a few dangerous times where it would flick back at very high speed, luckily no one got hurt. But for the most part it was easy, I put the first half (all the bottom up to the platform) together on my own in a crowded shed (we were hiding it from the kids) in about 2 hours, then my husband and I put together the rest later that night.
When we put it out I thought it would be a while until our kids climbed to the top but oh no, my 5 yr old daughter climbed straight up the sides with flip flops on and gave me a heart attack, then a few mins later my 4 yr old son did the same and he is the careful one, even our 1 year old loved climbing in and out the bottom. It is so sturdy and well built both my husband and I have climbed it (he is pushing 230lbs) and it hardly moved at all, I have even sat on the cargo net when building it. It is heavy but can be moved as we move it around the yard and change the order everything is so as to not kill the grass. My kids play on it everyday, they love to sit on the platform and have snacks, and I lost count of how many times the king has had to rescue the princess or let her in to see his "house" and showed her around hehe. |
