Cars really slow down when we put it in our front lawn, when our kids are playing by our front yard or in the side walk. Excellent!! Sturdy, Wind does not blow it down, visible, and ...cute!

My son has been asking and asking for the "man with the hat that holds a flag" for almost a year. Of course, I never found it in the stores, but Amazon came through again! Step2 products are so durable and sturdy, I know that I won't have to worry about him being too rough with it. He loves to put "Slow Man" at the end of the driveway to warn cars away when he plays... It gives me peace of mind to know that cars can see the KidAlert and will hopefully slow down. Another great buy!

We just started using this, but I was surprised by how many drivers slowed down as they approached our driveway. We were outside playing with the kids and all but one driver slowed to a respectful speed while we were out there.

The only concern I have is that our 18-month-old was too interested in the safety man. Our toddler kept running toward the street to investigate this strange yellow guy with the flag standing at the bottom of our driveway. Hopefully the novelty will wear off quickly.
