Step2 Sweetheart Playhouse

... This was a hit with my daughter for her 4th birthday. It's very large! I believe it is as tall or taller than her. She hasn't stopped playing with it in the last month. We purchased barbie brand furniture to go inside. It's very durable too. My two year old rambunctous son decided to sit on the second floor, and it didn't even bend a little. Great product!

After much research, we settled on the Sweetheart Playhouse mainly for the look and the color, and the fact that it is made in the U.S.A. and we assume, passes high safety standards. My daughter just loves it!! It was her 2nd birthday gift and when we opened the huge box, her eyes were wide open and she just whispered HOUSE. Installing it took less 30 nminutes with 3 men working on it. It is perfect for her playroom, and she has not stopped playing with it. We are very happy with this purchase despite very high shipping costs.

This house is so cute. The Sweetheart playhouse is so to small though. You could only fit 1 of anything in it. I am so dissapointed. I would have rather spent more money and got a house she could sit a little table in or a chair , just somthing. It took 5 Min to assem. so easy. I would look into a larger house that 2-3 litle girls could fit in.

I bought this playhouse for my granddaughter when she was two years old. Now at almost four years old, she still uses it all the time. She goes inside and role plays with all her play food. She plays in it with her cousin and friends. When I am visiting, she even has me get inside. Pretty soon baby brother will be in it, too. The playhouse is holding up very well, even the door bell still works.

I purchased the playhouse for my 2 year old granddaughter, and she loves it! It was very easy to put together and is very sturdy. The only thing I found fault with is the pink skylight, which was very poorly packaged and packed and was badly cracked, but Step2 immediately sent me a new one, which arrived in perfect condition. I recommend this toy to anyone with a toddler.

This was a wonderful addition to my son's backyear for our 3 yr old granddaughter. it was easy to assemble, and once together proved to be sturdy. it is colorful and inviting for young children

I got this playhouse as a present for my daughter's 2nd birthday, and she really seems to enjoy it. The phone, doorbell, etc. are nice touches, and she loves to put food up on the grill area. The inside area is quite large, with plenty of space to have a chair, toys, and still enough room to play. In addition to having a lot of space, the playhouse also has a good balance as far as how open it feels. The door is fairly long and has "windows," and the windows themselves are fairly large, so that the playhouse avoids having a claustrophobic feel (though with the shutters and the closable grill, you can make it more enclosed if you want).

The playhouse is made out of fairly sturdy plastic. One problem that I did have is that some screws are used to keep the roof on, and the screw holes weren't in the right place, so I had to make my own. Other than that issue, and the ridiculous shipping cost, we are very happy with the playhouse. And it's good to know that it's a toy that our two daughters will probably get six or seven years of use out of, not one that will be quickly forgotten in favor of a new toy.

Very happy with the quality, ease of assembly and our 2 1/2 year old grandaughhter would not come out of her new cottage for dinner after she first saw the Cottage--she stayed in it and played by herself for 2 hours--so the appeal and fun factors are high.
The only problem was with the delivery service--when Amazon listed a delivery date (whether it say approximate or not) I expect that is the date the product will be "approximately" delivered to my address. HOWEVER, in this case, the date given is the date the product was to arrive at the warehouse--which then called and left a message to call them to set a delivery date, which I responded to 1 1/2 hours after their call, nobody there, called again the next day, and a delivery date and time range of 4 hours was given and the delivery was not within that time period.
An UNSATISFACTORY delivery process from my perspective--

My three year old and 15 month old daughters love their new playhouse. Not difficult to assemble and is looks adorable in our yard. So far we are very pleased!

Got this for my granddaughter's BD who will be turning 2. She had been to a BD party where they had a similar playhouse and she was having a good time so I had to get her one. She was playing in it before we had it totally put together. First thing she does is close the shutters saying "See ya later!" She loves it. While we were assembling it, there was room for her, daddy, and a standard size poodle. (the Poodle looked adorable with his head sticking out the window by the way). Very well constructed and VERY easy to assemble. I think she'll have a lot of fun in her house for years to come. I looked at a lot of houses before choosing this one - this one is a little more expensive that some others I looked at, but well worth it. It is larger, better designed, and certainly cuter than the other houses near this price range. I would highly recommend it.
