5.0 out of 5 stars Step 2 Fun Flow Play Sink
We have had the sink for two weeks and it is great. My daughter 1 1/2 year old daughter loves it. We haven't had any issues with the flow pump, as stated in other reviews I have read. I am confident that if I have issues, Step 2 will stand behind their product. The plastic is durable and overall feels like a high-quality toy. Well worth the price paid already.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrendous Pump Wake Up Call
My 2 year old and 4.5 year old have had great fun playing with this... for about 3 weeks. That's when the pump button stopped working and the pump started going ON randomly. Last night was the last straw. At 3 a.m. the pump went on when there was no water in the sink and the noise was so loud that it woke up both kids. There I was at 3 a.m. hunting around for two...

Last night was the last straw. At 3 a.m. the pump went on when there was no water in the sink and the noise was so loud that it woke up both kids. There I was at 3 a.m. hunting around for two different kinds of screw drivers to open the plastic housing to get the batteries out. When I got it open I could see that the batteries were wet, which obviously was how the switch was being bypassed.

I purchased this for my granddaughters birthday. We assembled it and the grandchildren, age 1, 3 and 18 months started playing and having a ball. After about 15 minutes, the water pump started making a screaching sound and stopped pumping the water. They still continued to play with the water. I called Step 2 the next day and I had a new pump in 3 days. They were very accomodating. So much so, I purchased another Fun Flow Sink for my other granddaughter!

Went through two of these and had trouble with the pump both times. Poor quality / design. Save your money and buy a water table without the pump.

My children, ages 18 months and 3 1/2 love this toy. However, when I purchased it, the spout was battery operated and ran continously. Well, the pump broke in less than a week. Step 2 sent out a replacement immediately, but it was not the battery operated pump, but rather a manual pump. My children still love this toy, but don't use the spout very much anymore because they have to pump it themselves and it's too much work for them. Still love product, but the cost should be lowered now that the spout is manual, especially since one of the attractive features of the product was the continuous water flow.

I have read the reviews about this toy, but I did not believe the reviews written. I was so excited because my grand son likes to play with water especially sinks. I was so disappointed that the reviews written about the pumps are true. Yes the pump does not work, unfortunately I can't return it because I sent it as gift over seas and it will cost a lot to return it.

We purchased a different model without a battery operated pump. My 2 year old loves it. It is a little hard for him to push the pump but he is getting better at it every day and we have only had it for a week. I'm glad to see they came out with a new model that doesn't require batteries. Way to go Step 2! I'm sure we will be using this for years! Find the manual pump one!

1.0 out of 5 stars The Worst!, March 12, 2010

I can't believe that Step 2 continues to sell this piece of junk. My girls were so excited when ours arrived and continued to be disappointed for months as the pump broke time after time. Step 2 was very friendly about sending free replacement pumps, as well they should be considering that the product costs close to fifty dollars and is really just a big plastic tub. We went through 5 replacement pumps one lasting as long as a few days, one not working straight out of the box, before I ordered the Little Tikes mud pie kitchen. The Little Tikes product, while not having a continuous water flow has a hand pumping system that actually produces water - imagine that Step 2! The pump on the Step 2 product is simply not powerful enough to draw the water up through the spout. I ordered it thinking that my experience would be different than other reviewers, but that was not the case and I caution anyone considering buying it to rethink the purchase.

We've had this sink for almost a month, after reading the reviews we have been very careful with making sure our kids don't put a lot of dirty toys in it. As we read, dirt and debris obstruct the pump. So far our kids love it and the pump is holding up.

I thought this was a great toy, the kids really loved it. The first pump lasted two days. We called Step 2 and, to their credit, they replaced the broken pump quickly and with no hassle. However, the second pump only lasted a few hours.

We still use it as a water table, but the kids really loved the running water feature; they miss it.

Mine has a white basin, not the blue shown in the product description above. Maybe Step 2 has updated and fixed it.
