The way the basket part of this is, makes it work very well for both a cart and a baby buggy, They can lay their baby down with a blanket and even some baby supplies and off they go(it also has the front seat for a doll to sit). I also like that this basket doesn't have any holes so they can put anything at all in this and not have to get annoyed that it falls out. Also this has a place under the basket that you can put stuff just like a real cart(if I were a kid I would be really excited about that feature...heck, I am an adult and I think it's a neat feature)
This easily rolls on carpet and bare floors and will smoothly go over rugs or just about anything really. I agree with another poster who said they wouldn't recommend this as a learning type of walker, only stable walkers should use this but I think that is true with any kid shopping cart although I have read reviews from several people who said the Little Tykes was more stable for learning to walk(I would still get a toy meant for a learning walker such as Vtech Sit-to-Stand Learning Walker rather than get a shopping cart meant for ages 2 and up.
We bought this for our friends daughter on her 2nd Birthday, it was a huge hit for her daughter and my 2 year old girls. She also received a cheap/flimsy cart that came with food(Circo brand)...Read more ›
This cart does not pose a threat of damage to your floors or walls on impact and if your child acidentally bumps you from behind, it will not cause any pain or permanent damage to your heels. I cannot necessarily say that for the Mellissa & Doug metal cart that seems to be quite popular. I would certainly buy this particular product again.
Just a heads up about that.
It works a little better out in the yard because there is more space. If you really intend to use in the house, just make sure you know what you're purchasing and where you're going to put it, before buying. Personally I prefer the "cheaper" ones that are real small. The kids have JUST as much fun.. just my 2 cents.

Too light, we have to put some wait in the basket to stabilize it so my grandson can use it safely, more or lessPublished 20 days ago by J. Gonzalez
This isn't tacky like the cheapers version. IT's sturdy and easy to clean. My daughter takes it all over the place and her stuff animals fit in.Published 20 days ago by Danielle Hill

This cart is too light. The slightest push downward will tip the cart over thus sending your little one face down to the floor.Published 29 days ago by Alex G.
