My husband & I were so excited to give this to our 11 month old daughter for her 1st Christmas. We hid it from her & showed it to her last (after she opened all her presents). To our dismay, she screamed while on it and didn't want anything to do with it. Later in the day when family came to the house and everyone cheered for her, she rode it more but wasn't sure about it. Now 6 months later, it still isn't her favorite toy. She will barely ride it, but loves the music. Other kids that come over, however, love it. Right now I have it put up and will get it out again in a month or so and try it again. The tracks don't lock together and it does take up a lot of room. I just wish she liked it better because I think its great! We had no trouble putting it together and I take it apart fairly often to vacuum.

We bought this for our 1 yr old son as a X-Mas present and 5 months later he still loves it! Every kid that comes over usually has to be pried off of it screaming when its time to leave. It is large and takes up a lot of space, but the track comes apart very easily and can be dismantled and set aside. The battery charge lasts for a long time. We have only charged it a handful of times and it has never run down. It definitely requires ADULT SUPERVISION! My son has tipped over 2 xs when reaching for something but was not injured. He can climb in and out no problem and buckles the belt himself (can't unbuckle). I feel that it is perfectly safe as long as the seat belt is worn, adequate space is provided around and on the track and the child stays seated. No other toy has lasted this long and provided this much entertainment. We love it! Added bonus: It can be great for putting them to sleep too! (Wad a blanket up and put on the handle bar for their head to lay on :)

We bought this for our son's first birthday. He loves it!! He crawls to it and pulls up to tell us he wants to go on it. The strap to keep him in is a great feature. His sister, almost 3 years also loves it. Be sure to keep the four foot area around the toy clear of objects as recommended. The car once tipped going up the hill because my son was trying to stand up. No one was hurt. It does take up a lot of space but we are getting our money's worth. They would ride it all day if we let them.

I bought this for my 10 month old grandson one month ago, and I don't think I would find a better toy. Even though he tries to jump a bit because he's so excited, the strap and the bar keep him in place. The only downfall is that it does not have two speeds. The track is very durable & can stay outside in all types of weather, we only take the car inside. I'm going to try to purchase more of the track. At first I thought the car was going to come of the track, but it does not. I would recommend this very highly.

My mom actually bought this for my daughter when she was only 6 months old and she loved it!!!! She rides it all the time and every kid that comes to the house LOVES it too!She is 2 now and still rides it just as much. I would HIGHLY recommend buying this....My daughter rode it so much that at 10 months old she could get in it and turn it on herself.
We had to bring it home on a trailer cause she lives afew hours away and on the way the box ripped open from the wind - it went everywhere but we stopped and picked it up and it was totally fine barely any scraches at all. THIS TOY IS GREAT!!!!!!

I got this for my 1 year old daughter last year, and after a year of hard use we recently 'passed it down' to my almost 1 year old nephew. Its indestructable and the track stays together very well and takes seconds to put together. Both babies just loved it, especially in the living room waving 'hello' to folks as they passed by. Both quickly learned to press the on/off and music buttons. They both also started dragging out the track pieces themselves demanding it be put together! Its great if you have another child to pass it along to - after several months the novelty wears off, as with any toy. Making box 'tunnels' over the track is fun for them too. Its not cheap but I have spent loads of money on less expensive AND more expensive toys and seen them cast aside - this one is worth the money.

My 15 month old grandson simply loves this toy. And though he doesn't "squeal" with the ride...he always insists on riding until the battery is very low!! I beleive he could ride it all day! Great toy...but it does take up quite a bit of space.

Bought this toy for our granddaughter. It's a hit. She loves it. I thought it would be a little boring but she just loves it. It goes round and round and the whole while she's smiling and saying "Wheeee! each time she comes to the bump in the track. The seat belt keeps her snug and unless she rides standing up or trying to touch the floor while riding I don't see how she can tip out, however if she does it's probably less than six inches (I believe she falls farther just plopping down from a standing position.) As for the music it just adds to the fun of it. It's not annoying or overly loud, just plain happy music (Which can be turned off at any point with a separate button for motion or music) When I tried to take her out after about 20 minutes she didn't want to get out. It sets up relatively quickly (10 minutes or less) and wasn't hard at all.

We purcased this toy for our then 1 yr old grandaughters 1st b.d. she is NOW 4 AND WOULD STILL BE RIDING IF SHE FIT ! I read previous reveiw THE ONLY WAY A CHILD WOULD FALL OUT IS IF THE CHILD WAS NOT USING THIS TOY AS INTENDED AS A 4 YR OLD COULD TIP IT OVER IF THEY REALLY TRIED BY HANGING OVER THE SIDE OR STANDING UP WHICH THE AGE IS NOT INTENDED FOR ANYWAYS! THERE IS A SEAT BELT FOR YOUNG CHILDREN .INFACT THIS TOY IS SO MUCH FUN WERE GIVING IT TO THE NEXT GRANDAUGHTER WHO IS 6 MOS BUT CAN SIT W/O HELP!! My GD LOVED THIS TOY SHE WOULD RIDE FOR HOURS MY DAUGHTER SAID SOMETIMES SO LONG SHE WOULD BE SOUND ASLEEP GOING AROUND AND AROUND. THE COASTER SEAT IS QUITE HEAVY AND VERY WELL BUILT AND THE MUSIC IS EASY FOR LITTLE ONES TO TURN ON AND OFF. OVERALL THIS COASTER GETS A 10 !

My in-laws bought this for my son's first birthday in March 2005. I was a little apprehensive at first. We stopped by their house the day before his party, and it was out of the box to charge. He, being 1 day shy of 1 year, pushed the toy to the front door without even knowing what it was. He rode it for 30 minutes that night on the front lawn---at 9:00pm. Since then, it's gotten hours of use, he LOVES the music, even if I think it's odd. There's even been a few times when he's played on it so long, I look over and he's asleep on the roller coaster.

We store the coaster inside, which is where he generally plays with it, but in nice weather, we've been known to drag it all outside. (Beware, it's a tough toy to share with the neighborhood, though...)
