This is a great swing set. The main purpose of my review, however, is to emphasize that it is NOT easy to set up.
It took about 6 hours overall.
A few of the pieces were defective. One bolt was not cut properly and we had to go to the hardware store to replace it. In addition, a seam on one of the main plastic pieces had to be sanded down for the swing pole to be properly secured. It was quite a project.
The stakes used to secure the whole set are very challenging to install.

Like I stated, I'm pleased with the end result, but don't be fooled by the "easy to install" claim. Also, 2 people are definitely needed to install.

My one year old and two year like this swing set at Grandma's house but there is one huge problem....it gets EXTREMELY HOT in the sun. I thought the plastic would be be like the plastic that the Little Tikes infant/toddler swings are made out of and wouldn't get hot in the sun, but I was wrong. We set it up in mid March and it was so hot we had to move it under the Oak Trees so it wouldn't burn the kids. Now we have to get outside and clean the leaves, ants and bird poop off before the kids can even get on it. It also scares me that a limb may fall on them while playing. It would have been perfect to keep out in the open yard but I can only imagine how hot it will get in the summer. I was thinking about buying one for my home but after seeing how hot the plastic gets, I will not waste my money.

We just got this today and it is soooo awesome! I am missing a couple screws but Im sure Step2 will send replacements. It took me 3 hrs to put it together by myself, with my 2 yr olds help of course! She absolutely loves it! It is perfect for our small backyard. I love the slide part too its actually a pretty tall slide. This is hours of fun! I would reccommend this to anyone, way better then the metal swing sets for sure!

Update: Step2 sent me replacement screws, no charge to me :) They got here within a week. My daughter absolutely loves this swing!

My 1 1/2 year old loves this playground set. Like most of the other reviews, set up takes a while. I was able to set up the equipment about 80% by myself and with some help towards the end of the set up. I had no issues with the swing pole or any of the bolts. One thing that I think helped with installing the swing pole was to insert the pole into the castle part before installing the roof (unlike the instructions which tell you to do it towards the end). There's no reason you can't do it before installing the roof and it allows you to easily thread the pole in the castle area and insert the locking pin. Give yourself about 4-5 hours if your handy with tools, longer if you're not. Make sure you have a good socket wrench too. Nice product that hopefully will last several years.

I agree fully with the previous review. The swing set is great quality and durability, provides hours of fun and is adored by all toddlers who come over. But...the swing set took four hours and three people to put together. One of the largest pieces was slightly warped so we really had to struggle to get the bolts in properly. Also, I had the same trouble with the seam and swing pole, we sanded and shoved with all our weight (two 6'4'' men and me-5'4'') and FINALLY it got in. Regardless of the trouble, it is by far my daughter's favorite thing she--is two and wakes up and asks to "put on a jacket and go on my swing set" all the work was worth seeing her excitement.

Pain to put together, but great playset for the toddler age group. We currently keep this inside and it provides hours of play for our 3 year old. Would recommend to anyone looking for a playset for the 4 and under age group.

Overall I'm happy with this product. I thought I would get this playset for my 2-year old until she was bigger and could handle one of the big wooden playsets. I can see that it's not going to keep her entertained much longer but I'm thinking I have another year before she gets bored of it. It's really sturdy and I don't feel like I'm going to collapse it when my daughter insists that mommy sit on the swing and swing with her.

Unlike some of the other reviews, I did not find it challenging to put together. It took about 2 hours to do and everything went pretty smoothly. My kids ages 3 and 2 are in love with the set. It's the perfect size for them and it's small enough where I don't have to worry about them hurting themselves if they fall off and it is easy for them to climb on. I bought it elsewhere for much cheaper, but still feel that the set is overpriced. Overall though it seems to be good quality, safe, and my kids are happy--so it's worth it.

My husband put most of it together himself, which took about 4-5 hours. I helped once he was ready to install the roof, which was quite a hassle to do. The screw wasn't long enough to connect, so we had to use extra force to finally get it to screw in. The slide was the the biggest pain overall. The holes didn't line up with the base, so it took about 30 minutes to get that screw in. At first, the swing pole hole wouldn't line up with the roof hole, but after some tweaking, we finally got that screw through. We had to use a rubber mallet hammer to drive the steaks in, but that was no big deal. When it was all said and done, it looked great and our son loves it. We replaced one of the swings with the Little Tikes infant swing, since our son can't quite hang on to the "big kid" swing just yet. I'm sure we'll get plenty of use out of it for years to come.

The price was the best bang for the buck for quality & durability compared to Sam's Club, WalMart, and local vendors.

In winter, the swing set was the perfect size to assemble and store in the comfort of a 2-car garage.

With Amazon Prime Shipping membership, it arrived with free shipping from a trucking company. The company called for a pick up time. The truck driver was courteous and helped unload it up the steep driveway.
