I purchased this a year ago for my almost 2 year old and 4 year old grandchildren. I love that it provides a small area for toddlers to explore sand and water without using too much. Toddlers tend to love to dump sand and water on the ground or carry it around the yard during play, and so I don't use up an entire bag of sand during playtime. They are able to play in the sand and water without sitting down in it and getting sand in diapers or pants. It has a lid that straps down with thick elastic loops which keeps the sand clean and little hands out of it when not used. I like that the toys can be stored inside or underneath the box and kept in the shade. The wheels provide great portability!! Used with the umbrella, it can be moved around to allow more shading. Better yet, it can be easily moved inside a storage building when not in use! It has held up great!

When I first bought it, the only problem I had was putting it together. I had to get help installing the wheels properly, but that was just a minor problem. Parents of young children will love this product because it is so manageable and does not use up yard space permanently, and it is easy to keep clean. My grandkids love it!!

My 2 year old loves this toy! Even though, the water portion may be a bit small- it's still functional. The best part of this toy (aside from a water release valve) it that the fact that it's mobile, self-contained, and has a umbrella for extra shade. My 2 year old is very fair skinned. We are also military, so moving from place to place is a must. We need toys that can endure the outdoors and the constant mobility. This toy is it. We are currently stationed in New Mexico. This toy is stored outside in the heat and winds. It has secure bands so, it has stayed in place while everything else has been blown away. This toy is affordable and durable.

It was so easy to put together. Umbrella is easy to raise and lower and remove. Daughter loves this and plays with it every day. I recommend it to everyone.

My grandchildren love their sand and water tables. I have bought three, and this one is probably the best as it has wheels. The first one was for our first grandchild who only had a tiny patio to play on. At 10 months he loved patting that sand. He is six now and he and younger brother still play with it. The second one is probably too small, but its three owners like it. We have this one on our porch and the children love playing with it--dry sand, wet sand, it is all good. They love to pour sand or sandy water into the center tower. This unit is not very big, but it plays well and the children can move it themselves.

I researched before I ever bought one and this toy is even more fun and popular than I thought it would be.

My son got it from Santa when he was 2. He still enjoys it at 3 1/2, especially when his friends come over.

This sand box is neat because it has wheels, so it's not one of those stationary sand boxes that kill your grass.
It is also convenient that the kids can stand to play, instead of sitting and getting sand in their shorts!
Kids can play with sand or water, because there are two sections. Or they can mix the two.
The umbrella allows some shade, but mostly it's just pretty.
There is a shelf / storage area under the sand and water to store toys.
When you are finished playing, pull the plug and you can empty the water until next time.

I recommend you order this on Amazon, but not the sand. Get the sand at a local Home Depot or Lowe's so that you can save on shipping.

This sand & water cart provides the perfect amount of space for 2-3 smaller children to play. My two year old son loves the tall water spinning toy and boats that are provided. Though the water area is about a third of the size of the cart, I find that he is still able to enjoy it. The sand side is a lot of fun if you purchase additional toys(as this cart only comes with a shallow cup for pouring). I love the drying rack below and how durable this cart feels but most of all I love that it is on wheels. This makes it SO easy to move from outside into our garage so that it(and the umbrella) does not fade. The lid is perfect for keeping the sand in and bugs out. If you're looking for something fun for your young child(ren) to do and don't mind a little mess than this is for you!

I purchased this for my son's third birthday. I chose this after shopping around quite a bit online and reading plenty of product reviews on several different sand/water tables. The two most important features for me were a drain plug for the water and a cover. This one had those and all of the reviews on it indicated that it was a good buy. The order was placed late Tuesday afternoon with one day shipping and the cart was delivered Thursday around noon. I put it together by myself and although I'm no one's miss fix-it, the instructions were very easy to follow and I was able to put it together in about 40 minutes. My son hasn't seen or played with it yet but I am thinking he will have a blast with this.

One thing to note, Amazon's description under the Product Features states that it has a tilting umbrella. My umbrella doesn't tilt and no where on the box or in the instructions does it indicate that the umbrella is supposed to tilt. I believe Amazon's description is incorrect. So far I see no cons to this product except that it would be nice if the umbrella didn't twirl when open. Seems like this could potentially be dangerous. But eh, maybe not. Also it might be good if the umbrella pole clicked in to place. I could see a gust of wind being able to lift the umbrella up pretty easily. These really aren't problems for me, just little things I noticed that might be room for improvement.

as an educator, my wife asked me to get a sand and water table for our backyard. black widows and fire ants deterred me from having a sandbox in our area. this cart is very nice and sits on our deck. I also like the cover. Do remember that not everything is toddler resistant, as you won't want them to play with the cover. good product.

I purchased this for my granddaughter's first birthday (as my grandson had received one a similar one by the same company a few months earlier for his 1st birthday). We set it up for her first birthday party and ALL of the kids loved it. Definitely a great gift. Since it does take up considerable room, I would suggest that this should be a consideration when purchasing it. But, overall, it is a hit!
