Great concept and works well. One thing that I didn't notice until I got it was that children were not supposed to ride in it and that was why I had bought it. I wish that had been more prominent in the description of the product but ultimately it was my fault for not noticing that.

I was excited to see that Step 2 made a trailer for their wagon (which we already owned). I ordered the Tag Along Trailer for my wagon hoping to be able to use it over the 4th of July weekend.

When it was delivered my almost 3 year old and I excitedly waited for Daddy to get home and put it together. However, when my husband got home and started to assemble the trailer he noticed that the two "axle bushings" were not included in the bag of parts. It also appeared that our new trailer might have been a returned item since the bag of parts had a hole in it. Unfortunately, the axle bushings were necessary and the trailer could not be assembled without them. I will not forget the sad look on my little boy's face as he helped my husband drag the box and partially assembled trailer back into the garage.

Since it was now July 2, Thursday before a 3-day weekend, and after business hours on the East Coast I had to wait until Friday morning, July 3 and a holiday for many companies, to call Step 2. I sat on hold with them for about 1/2 hour before I finally got a message saying the offices were closed but I could leave a VM that would be returned on July 6. Of course I was more than a little mad at Step 2 and madder that I couldn't get a hold of them to fix the problem in a timely manner.

So, I called up trusty old Amazon and the super polite customer service agent said he would immediately ship another trailer out to me. Unfortunately there was no way it would get to us in time for the long weekend and he was more than apologetic.

Once the replacement trailer came it worked great. My kids love it and we can put picnic baskets in it, toys or whatever.

Long story short, awesome product, I would recommend it. Make sure you buy it from Amazon in case Step 2 is up to their old tricks and allow for extra time in case you need it by a certain date.

We have two kids 1 and 3 yr old and I can't imainge not having the trailer with the wagon. It is great to be able to have room for both kids to ride comfortably in the wagon and still have room for the diaper bag and a cooler. We go every week to watch my husband play softball and the wagon and trailer makes the hike to the fields easy with both kids. The trailer attaches securely to the wagon and yet can be removed quickly. The trailer can be transported and stored in basicallythe same space as the wagon. We have room to carry both in our explorer and still have room for coolers etc. I am sure we will use both the wagon and the trailer for many years.

Easy to put together. Took a little muscle to attach to the wagon, but it's on firmly and has no chance of slipping off, which is necessary because we cart our two-year-old in it (even though it's technically not meant for kids, she fits in there just fine - the sides are high enough to keep her safe). Our other two preschoolers ride in the wagon. This was a great find - recommended to me initially by another mom!

I have the Choo Choo wagon with the caboose from Step 2 (they no longer make it). We take our 3 yr old triplets everywhere in it. The problem was - there was very little room for storage so we had to carry all their stuff wherever we went - diaper bags, food coolers, coates and jackets, etc. I saw this trailer and wondered if it would fit on my wagon so I called Step 2 and asked them and they assured me it would so I bought it. It's been great nit having to lug their stuff around anymore and I thought the price was reasonable and free shipping! It does make our wagon super long but it's worth it.

It says not to, but we put our preschooler in the trailer and our toddler twins in the wagon and go for walks. We get comments all the time about our "train". Our kids simply love it.

Listen, the trailer is VERY difficult to put on and off. I can hardly do it.

We have a 2nd toddler coming and this little addition is the perfect way to pull the cooler, toys, blankets, and whatever else. I gave it 4 stars because of the way it hitches isn't as secure as I'd like esp if you move backward any. I think they could have added a spring latch for little cost - However this is the only company/product that has a trailer and the company makes great products all around.

This is a must have trailer for your wagon! It will hold all the "stuff" that goes with you when you have kids. No more sweaty back from the backpack at the zoo!

It makes the wagon a little hard to handle in tight spaces due to minimizing the turn radius. I also was shorted some hardware; the number that Step2 gives you to call was helpful but the person didn't understand what I was asking for and sent the wrong part. Overall I'm satisfied with the product.
