I am 68 years old, retired and already an avid reader but I want to increase my reading speed and this program AceReader Pro is doing it. The first week I was able to substantially increase my reading speed while maintaining a high level of comprehension and I'm confident that I can at least double my reading speed by continuing to use this program. It took me some time to get familiar with all the program features, but the program is easy to use. The games are challenging but fun to play. I am especially impressed with the "Expert Mode" which allows me to load e-books and other documents from my computer into the Expert Mode, customize the display (color, size, content), set the desired reading speed and more. I highly recommend this program to anyone (young or old) that wants to improve their reading skills.

My wife and I purchased AceReader Pro Deluxe back in 2002. We were so immediately impressed with its potential that we purchased copies for some family members. In a short time after using AceReader, our reading speeds had easily doubled and our reading comprehension had improved as well. It has helped me overcome two common problems that slow most people down, "subvocalization" and "regression".

The Deluxe version allows and keeps track of multiple users. The AceReader website has 30-day Demo versions and many add-ons for the AceReader software. We also purchased the American History and Earth & Space Science test sets, along with the Text-To-Speech add-ons.

We have kept our AceReader current throughout the past nine years. We now have AceReader Pro Deluxe 7, the most recent version.

The customer service is EXCELLENT! We've tried many speed reading programs over the years. AceReader is really the best and has no competition. But as great as AceReader is, it's the wonderful customer service that keeps us coming back!

My twelve year old requested this product and loves it. He practices and times his comprehension and speed each day. Great way to encourage more reading for pleasure!

I purchased AceReader Pro for a friend who has difficulty reading. The software uses leveled comprehension tests, eye pacing drills, and fun games. An automated Course Mode led her through the learning process, and an Expert Mode let her change the display. Her reading speed and comprehension has improved. I would recommend this program for anyone serious about becoming a proficient reader.

Im not one to review often, but i feel the product and the company deserve it. Ive been using the program for about 2 weeks and have 1.5x my reading speed. Its incredible how customizable it is, and i can see why so many schools have implemented it into their curriculum. That being said, their customer service is second to none. I have made about 3 calls into them about different questions on how to perfectly customize the program to my needs. Every time i call the gentlemen i spoke to always went the extra mile to make sure i was satisfied. A+++ for customer service. Thank you!!

I find the program to be excellent in that it is a great tool to both improve and also brush up my reading habits. I run a software company and am working on another masters degree at night so I have a lot of reading to do. Often in preparing for very focused work efforts, I like doing a couple sets of exercises in Acereader Pro to condition myself. I feel it increases my reading efficiency significantly - like stretching exercises before going for a run.

Recently, I bought the Ace Reader for my daughter to help in her schoolwork....but unfortunately,I received a PC CD as once again, I forgot to ask for the MAC version. Not sure what other people's experiences has been, but for me, I find that a lot of companies return policy to be a real hassle when it comes to softwares/CDs. So, I called the Ace Reader support number expecting yet another painful experience. When I called the 800 number, I was pleasantly surprised by how patient and thorough the customer service support person was. He walked me through to make sure I got the right version for my kid...Then, he showed me how to download the software to my computer PLUS he sent a MAC CD version in the mail. My wife often says a good customer service department can make or break a company....I now understand what she means. Not only was I impressed with how they walked me through their product but I felt that if I had any more issues, I can freely call them for help and support. Ace Reader is first class!

I used to avoid reading because I was so slow at it, my grades were suffering and I felt like there was nothing I could do about it. Though I would try to read my mind was somewhere else and I would have to go back and re-read. It would take me so long that I would get tired and completely give up. Thanks to Ace Reader, I have fun practicing and my reading has tripled! I can do my homework in a reasonable amount of time and go back to practicing! The customer service had lightning fast response with answers to any questions I had. I am so impressed with this product that I have given copies to my family. I went from 175wpm to 600 in 3 days and I will continue to practice and recommend this program to everyone! I can't thank Ace Reader enough!

We bought this program for our 13-year old twins. They will be heading to high school next year and feel they need every advantage we can give them. My son started the program and, in less than a week, his reading speed has improved. The drills are diverse and fun. He loves that the computer counts his words for him and times him. I have talked with customer support twice now regarding loading the program onto more than one home computer and upgrading so we can have multiple users on one computer. The customer support response has been FANTASTIC! Support has been patient and really explained all my options and how to best use the program. This program and its customer support are great.

This is not only for young readers. I bought this product to help my high school aged son improve his ACT test scores. He did well when he initially took the ACT but felt that he could be faster in the sections that required more reading. His scores did improve after spending a couple of months working with this product.
