One of my favorite Fear Street books.,
This review is from: The Stepbrother (Fear Street Series #52) (Paperback)
Sondra is an ordinary seventeen-year-old girl, or so she thinks. Then she allows her best friend, Mallory, to hypnotize her. She has a terrifying vision of burning alive, and then starts to have similiar dreams. She visits a psychic who says that Sondra may have died in a fire during a past life as a girl named Penny, and that her killer may be after her in this life as well. Sondra's boyfriend, Zach, thinks it is Sondra's stepbrother, Eric. Eric thinks it's Zach. And Mallory starts to act more and more mysterious. If Sondra doesn't find out the truth soon, she may die in this life as well. This was an exciting, page-turning book. Once I started it, I could not put it down. And the ending was the complete opposite of what I expected, which was good.

A total Shocker!!!,
By Jade Madigan (Fl) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Stepbrother (Fear Street Series #52) (Paperback)
Wow, it's been so long since i last read this book (I rented it from the library or else i'd read it again.) I reccomend this book to anyone who enjoys a good thriller. You don't have to be 13-15 years of age to enjoy R.L Stine's fearstreet series. In fact, i'm 18 and i absolutely love him. I'll admit his writting is'nt as elaborate and detailed as other writers but that's what's so great about him. He gets to the point and in the process gives us a great story. The Step Brother is an absolute shocker. You'll be hooked from beginning to end. Especially the end. This book has got one of the best surprise endings ever (although with R.L Stine you usually come to expect surprises).

By A Customer
This review is from: The Stepbrother (Fear Street Series #52) (Paperback)
Sondra started having terrible nightmares of her being burned to death after her best friend Mallory hipnotized her. A psychic tells her that she is remembering events from her past life as Penny. Sondra starts having terrible accidents afterwards , which Eric, her new stepbrother seem's to be causing. Is Eric the same person who killed her in 1958? Buy the book and find out.

Nightmares,
By Skilpadde "Zombie" (Norway) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Stepbrother (Fear Street Series #52) (Paperback)
Just after her new stepbrother moves in, Sondra is starting to have nightmares about her own death. A hypnotist tells Sondra that these are memories from a past life. And the murderer may be after her in this life as well. It could be someone close to her. Even someone living in the same house...
Another great story from Stine.

This review is from: The Stepbrother (Fear Street Series #52) (Paperback)
THe story is about a girl who is being hypnotized by a friend of hers and from that moment on she is getting these frightening visions all filled with fire. THey seem to be from a past life, and these visions are connected to her stepbrother. This story was really well written, kept you pageturning, gave you chills. You just kept on reading because you just want to know what these visions really mean and what really happened in that past life. The ending was everything but predictable! really good.
