Great read. I'm not generally a YA reader but this kept me interested from front to back. I won't feel complete until I read the next part of the series.
Very good writing. Loved the illustrations, too. Great characters, just over a very good plot and a wonderful read!

I don't find myself with a ton of spare time to read, so when I do, it has to captivate me in the first few pages or I am on to something else. I was surprised when Stephen Carter held my attention from the very first page. I found myself not wanting to put it down. It is a great story for young or old. I have recommended it to others and have given it as a gift. I'm excited to read the sequel. I have since read other books by this author. He is a very diverse writer. I like that and will be continuing to watch for anything else he writes.

What a fantastic book! It was captivating from the first word until the last. I find myself longing for the sequel to be written. This book is destined to be the next "Harry Potter" of the literary world. I could not put the book down. WOW. A MUST READ for everone 8 to 80.

I had read Dan's first 2 books and knew this one would be very different. I must admit after the first chapter I was thinking "Oh Boy" this book is not for me. But I stayed with it and boy am I glad I did. Buy it for your kids and then read it yourself when they are done. A book the whole family can enjoy. Great story!
