More fun than a brown paper bag and lighter weight than a metal lunchbox, this soft-sided lead-free bag will brighten any kid's day when sitting down to lunch or snack time. Its monkey design comes complete with brown floppy feet, wiggly ears, a tuft of hair, a curly tail, and a friendly smiling face. The bag's spacious, fully insulated interior keeps cold items cold (ice pack recommended) and warm items warm, while its front flap with a Velcro closure keeps it all contained, even when bouncing around in a backpack. And in the spirit of an "I love you" written on a paper napkin, the bag includes 12 little notes, in four different designs, all with words of encouragement like "hang in there!" A separate zippered front pouch works great for holding milk money, a napkin, and one of the 2-1/2-by-3-1/2-inch notes, plus it offers space on the front for personalizing the bag with a name. The bag measures approximately 7 by 11 inches and includes an 11-inch strap.

We used this for my son when he was in a 3 year old preschool class. It's very cute and easy to carry, but if there was any kind of leakage (raspberry juice, milk etc.) it was very difficult to get out. When I washed it (by hand or washing machine) the bag molded easily and began to smell. It's probably great if you aren't going to carry any kind of liquid, but it's pretty hard to clean otherwise.

I bought this for my daughter's lunch at kindergarten. She loves it. It was a little bit smaller than I had imagined, but it fits her sandwich, fruit and little snackie for the day. If you want to put in a cool-pac with it I don't know that there would be enough room for much lunch. We'd definitely buy it again though.

My 6 yr. old son picked this out himself and just loves it! It is insulated and so far has kept things cold well. The only thing that I would improve upon is having a zipper closure. So far, nothing has fallen out of the flap closure, but it is a concern of mine with a small child. The bag is rather narrow (about 3 inches deep), but it holds his ice pack and juice box just fine. There is plenty of height to the bag, so whatever I can't put on the bottom I simply stack on top. This bag is really cute and is a definite winner at our house!
