My son LOVES trains, so I thought this would be perfect for coat hooks for him. The pieces are adorable, and the hooks can be optionally screwed on.

If you want to use this just for art, without the hooks, or use the hooks for display purposes, this is PERFECT.

However, I wanted to use this for everyday coat/lunch box/etc use. The back of the pieces go on to the wall with the standard picture frame type hook--the whole piece would half pull off the wall every time you tried to take a coat, etc, off the hook. In the end I had to drill holes through the 3 pieces so I could screw the train pieces themselves into the wall.

Bottom line: Great for display. If you want the hooks to be functional, plan to do a little drilling.

These hooks are amazing! Great quality, very durable and easy to "install." My son hangs his helments, art smock, hooded jackets, baseball caps...etc. on these hooks. Great buy!

This was exactly what i was looking for for my little nephews room. He is 1 and has a sports themed bedroom. We where looking for something that he could keep in his room for awhile. This was perfect, they look great!

My 5 year old loves her wall hooks because of the butterflies. They were easy to hang evenly and look great in a lavender room. You can use nails or picture hangers depending on your walls.
