This volume like the others sticks faithfully to the source material but I found the most exciting parts of the original didn't come across as impactful in comic book format. The scenes just came & went too quickly. Otherwise everything you want from an adaptation of a Stephen King book is in this volume.

I read "The Stand" for the first time when I was in middle school and it quickly became one of my favorite books. I've broken out the book to re-read every couple of years over the last 15 years. This series has brought a new life to the story and I'm really looking forward to the next volume!
