I had the chance to see the show in London back in December ... I Loved the show and i loved the music that touches perfection ! Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote the best score in the last 20 years, since sunset blvd.! The orchestrations are great and Alexander Hanson was breathtaking ! The sound quality of the recording is also great. It's one of the most underrated musicals in the history ! I loved it because of the variety of the music in the show, from ballads to dancing tracks ! Buy it, You won't regred it

I'm a big Andrew Lloyd Webber fan and should have felt something was wrong when, for the first time, his name is nowhere to be found on the cover of the CD. Much of the CD is just disjointed talking with music playing in the back ground. The was only one - well, maybe 2 songs that I would consider giving a second listen. I didn't give it a one star because I don't hate it. It's just that there's really nothing to like.

This is andrew's latest musical after love never dies in 2010!
i've been waiting for a new work by him for awhile now & he's given us ward a beautiful emotional tale based on the events of profumo affair in 1963.
We should be very greatful that Andrew didn't do a movie turned musical trend (Which i find very stupid & awful! but have a couple of ex to musicals I'll not name at risk of it being too long.) to school of rock based on jack black's flim!
My reason for doing this review is due to it not having a big responce unlike the ones at amazon.co.uk!
I pre-order the cd at amazon.co.uk last year (it came very quickly on December 3rd!) cause the one in u.s had it set for 2014 which i thought was a rip off & waste for a musical album.
it's price for the cd in u.s is completely ridiculous! u.k price is way cheaper was then at 8.45 pounds, now it's 9.30 pounds.

With all that aside now onto the songs...

Human Sacrifice - The opening scene reminds of evita when she comes from beyond the grave singing don't cry for argentina in oh what a circus. except it's ward singing in the chamber of horrors!

Super Duper Hula Hooper - I dislike this track,it's just awful!

When You Get To Know Me - The music has a bossa nova/jazz style simalar to Our little secret from bombshell's smash!

You're So Very Clever To Have Found This - it's mostly a half song/dialogue scene between ward, valerie hobson (the wife of profumo) & christine. all i know the scene takes place at wraysburry in the song(might buy the script to the show but not from here!) & it leads into this side of the sky.

This Side Of The Sky - I love this song & it's favorite song on the cd!

Not really a typical Andrew Lloyd Webber musical but good music.

I like this musical but like those in London, I don't like it as much as all the others, some old musicals seen years ago and the rest bought for my MP3 Player to hear with good ear buds. I hear some traditional A. L. Webber's sounds in this music. I have only played it once. Just too busy to listen right now. Given time it will no doubt grow on me. Ena the Webber Lover
