Editorial Reviews

Review

"It is encouraging to find a young woman who is not only a beautiful demonstration of an organized woman but who can share her wisdom in a delightful and interesting way. 12 Steps to Becoming a More Organized Woman will prove to be a helpful tool in the hands of every wife and mother."
—Charles F. Stanley, Pastor, First Baptist Church of Atlanta

"The concepts from Lane's book have impacted many young women I know (including my Kim). The book is for women of all ages, and we older gals are particularly partial toward anyone who leads our children and grandchildren on the path of righteousness. Thanks, Lane, for being a mentor to many through this book."
—Mrs. Larry (Rachel) Crabb, author of The Personal Touch -- Review

5.0 out of 5 stars This Organizational Addict Loved It, May 10, 2000

This review is from: 12 Steps to Becoming a More Organized Woman: Practical Tips for Managing Your Home and Your Life Based on Proverbs 31 (Paperback)
I love to read books about organizing and planning my home. My library boasts dozens of them! Some are good, some are not so good, but this book by Lane Jordan was GREAT. It is inspiring and motivating. As a Christian, I enjoyed the Biblical principles applied; but I don't think it would be a book to shy away from for the non-believer.

The advice is practical, the application is logical and the outcome has been wonderful. Even small changes in the home make a big difference. And like it or not, it is the wife and mother in the family who makes or breaks the home. I would recommend for any woman.

5.0 out of 5 stars Life changing-Easy to read!, April 5, 2000
This review is from: 12 Steps to Becoming a More Organized Woman: Practical Tips for Managing Your Home and Your Life Based on Proverbs 31 (Paperback)
Very motivational and encouraging. Couldn't get through a chapter without putting the book down and getting busy to clean, organize or just spend time loving my family. I read it 2 times in 1 week, loaned it to my sister and she read it in 1 evening and got busy cleaning/organizing the next morning. Proverbs 31 gives a whole new dimension to cleaning, organizing, caring for and loving our family! I love this book and would highly recommend it. My husband & family are loving the results :~)

4.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring with some new ideas!, July 30, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: 12 Steps to Becoming a More Organized Woman: Practical Tips for Managing Your Home and Your Life Based on Proverbs 31 (Paperback)
I ordered this book last week and I read it in one sitting. I have a dozen other home management books and I was very pleased to find some new ideas in this book. I'm not an overly religious person so I had some doubts about how much I'd get out of the book but I was very pleased with the suggestions. Some of the organizational strategies for meal planning are excellent and I'm using them now. They're very helpful. This book is the second most useful book on home mangement I've read. I do prefer Kathy Peel's Home Manager based on the sheer number of valuable management tips, like the hit list. Overall, I'd recommend this book to anyone who wants to be more organized. It's an easy read and it's saved me a few hours already!
