I picked up the book expecting another "get rich quick" scam. Not so with this book! The book is filled with real-life experiences of the author and people he's known over the years. The information found in the book is very concrete, and does not require one to spend 100 hours a week selling $10 items on Ebay. I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to upgrade their knowledge level and learn more about the business of buying and selling, rather than just taking a shot in the dark and keeping their fingers crossed. The information contained in the book is well worth the cost of a pizza, believe me.

As a collector and treasure hunter myself, I have found this book to be quite the inspiration to take something that I love doing and turn it into an effective way to make a substantial profit. The author shows how anyone can be successful, and covers everything that you need to know in a way that is not overwhelming, but rather very exciting as you see how this could very easily be you having these same stories. The best part is that the author is living testament to what he writes, and his numerous stories and examples from his own lifetime of collecting and selling helps the reader get a firsthand idea of what it takes to be successful and have fun throughout the process.
This book is not only invaluable to serious collectors, but the author's life stories are beyond extraordinary, and just as importnatly, will motivate and inspire even those who do not intend to make money through collecting. His experiences and wealth of knowledge prove his credibility and will leave you bursting out the door to start your treasure hunt!

Wow! Such an easy-read resource of knowledge in the field of art and collectibles; valuable for both novices and seasoned dealers. This book overflows with common sense, mingled with illustration after illustration of proven how-to success. As an antiques and collectible dealer myself for over 15 years, I learned that, at best, I was only skimming the surface of the potential at hand. I only wish that I would have had Daryle's expertise at the time I purchased a 1700's Welsh painting for $7 at a rummage sale in Tempe, Arizona. When I took it to be assessed by Rudy Turk, then ASU Art Museum Director, he was taken a back at my find and the quality of the painting. He told me to contact Christy's and/or Sothebys. Christy's suggested getting it restored which would have cost approximately $2,000, and then enter it for auction, but not understanding the "how-tos" at the time and leary to invest that amount of money, I sold it for $800, surely missing one of those golden opportunities Daryle alludes to. "31 Steps to Your Millions in Antiques & Collectibles" not only addresses this very thing; but in practicality, it reveals where to search, how much to pay, when to buy, when to sell, and a plethora of potential venues to accomplish such. Indeed a valuable book written with integrity and thanksgiving to God. <><

Daryle Lambert holds nothing back in his book, "31 Steps to Your Millions in Antiques and Collectibles." In laymens terms, he explains time tested techniques to make one sucessful in this business. An inspiring read, he shares his experiences, which will surely educate and encourage. How do I know this is the REAL DEAL? I met Daryle when I lived in Chicago several years ago. We met at church, and I didn't realize I was getting such an education! I moved from Chicago 3 years later, richer in spirit and on the fast track to financial independence.

I somehow thought that this book was going to feature "collectibles" but, instead it is mostly telling how the author has managed to make money himself.
