As far as extending component cables, this is what you need. Shipping FAR outweighed the cost of this quality made part. Its color coded and gold plated which is a big plus. I just wouldn't use too many of these to connect cables due to the fact that as you keep extending the size (50,75,100 ft) you will lose some signal quality. With that being said, I needed to go about 100 feet so I bought two 50ft length high quality component cables and this to connect them and the signal quality still looks amazing.

I brought this as a backup and it works just as good as my other one.

This was the most economical solution for me at the time, I used it with standard definition RCA cables, it worked fine. It should serve you well as long as you don't link together many different cables together. Ideally you will want to have one cable going to your TV from your input device, and ideally they should be within 10 feet or so of each other. Longer length runs may require an amplifier.

this item arrived on time, it does what it says it does and even make it very simple with the color coded for each connector.

Well like most Component Cables its cool because its just one of those things thats necessary in order to get your Hava HD Video Recorder to Capture Videos from any component device in HD, which primary use is as a DVR.

You will also need the audio oneCables to Go 40646 Stereo Audio Coupler, it just needs 2 spots but I'm sure another one of these would work. All those spots are the same so even for the component coupler it doesn't even matter if its the Red Yellow and White one.

Hi - So you need to extend your RGB, so what to do? I've seen these triple RCA barrels selling from a penny up to over $5. One thing for sure is that this merchant should be avoided.

Why? In my single transaction with Cmple, I was bait and switched. I bought name brand cables and they sent me no name crap that incidentally also cost a penny apiece right here on Amazon.

So, if you must extend your RGB, your first choice is to buy the proper length cable. These extenders do nothing good for your picture and provide another place for your signals to fail.

However, if you must extend your RGB, keep the total length short, as over 15 ft. starts to damage your signals, and if you must buy RCA barrels, choose another vendor that doesn't have a reputation for ripping off customers.

It's easy. Just find the same picture, but a different vendor than Cmple.

I needed to extend a component video cable that I used with my XBox 360, and this coupler did the trick. The item looks and feels a little flimsy, but has been working without any problems.

The fit between the plug and socket on the each of the three feed-throughs is different, but the signal loss is very low. It's a decent product, but the tolerances are a bit low.
