Awesome bboy album,
By "anskrev" (Maine USA) - See all my reviews

album kicks!!!!! has funky house/breakbeat/hiphop tracks....really good to breakdance to. 1 slightly raegae-esk track. Includes freestylers and b-boys & fly girls videos. I hadn't seen the b-boys & fly girls video but the freestylers video is longer than the one shown on euro MTV. If you've heard any of this album before and liked it I'm certain the rest'll blow you away. Good party album. Varied enough to keep you interested and fast enough to keep you dancin'

By A Customer
This review is from: In Stereo (Audio CD)
I HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS SONG HIT #1 IN GERMANY WHEN I WAS THERE, AND IT DESERVED IT SO MUCH MORE THAN WHAT GOT SENT TO #2--BON JOVI. THE FUNKY BASS AND TIGHT SCRATCHWORK MAKE THE CD AMAZING.

ill euro-rap/techno,

Disregard Ozzy's reveiew because Bomfunk MCS are not British and they aren't from the club scene. They are Finnish MCS and they are European Popstars. They are as popular in Europe as NSYNC or the Backstreet Boys. But in the US pop usually means low quality music and groups that are put togther by corporations. In Europe Bomfunk MCS are pop and hi quality. I give it 4 stars because it can be repetitive at times but the beats are nice and the rhymes flow. This to me is somewhat of a mix of Fatboyslim with Run DMC or something like that. Even if you don't like either of these artists you will enjoy this CD and it is definitely worth the steep import price.

B-boy's, Fly girls, get the CD...,

This CD is BIG in Europe, and it deserves five stars for the most part. However, I only listen to about four or five songs on the whole CD, because the rest pretty lame. Track #1, Uprocking Beats, is an awesome breakbeat song that has an off the hook video! B-Boys & Fly Girls is also a hit from the CD that is tight. Freestyler is another breakbeat song which really stands out. I usually don't listen to breakbeat that has vocals in it, but this one is the sh... and one of my favorite CD's that I've picked up in Europe.

Great Dance Music,
By A Customer
This review is from: In Stereo (Audio CD)
This is a great album of club style dance music. It isn't pop exactly, but is perfectly suited to play at any party you host. If you are into breakdancing, this cd is a must-have.

Finland's gift to the world of dance music,
By Mia (tampere, Finland) - See all my reviews

This is an amazing album, the boys won one MTV music award (Europe)a few years ago, and they deserved it. Just an amazing piece of dance music with Freestyler, of course. If you enjoyed this album, you're gonna love the second one too. Finland's gift to the world of dance music! Enjoy!

Innovative, rocking, breaking dance!,
By Blue-Rat "BR" (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews

Freestyler is one of my all-time favourite tunes, and the album continues with such innovative dance-rap-hip-hop-reggae. Other notable tracks include the upbeat electronica of Other Emcee's and Sky's the Limit. 1,2,3,4 is a particularly funky breabeat sound. The extras on the special edition include a disc of fair but not brilliant remixes, and the videos to Freestyler and Uprocking Beats on PC, both excellent and imaginative vids, with plenty of breaking. Bomfunk are a little bit cheesy, their lyrics (not native English speakers remember) can be a little bit odd, but they are genuine, innovative and upbeat about the hip-hop scene. An excellent album. Come on come on what you waiting for? Let me know if you want some more!
