5.0 out of 5 stars Best headphones for iPhone, period
What makes these the best? Because they're less than $10 and they work!

Jack plugs into socket correctly? Check
Remote button works to pause/play music? Check
Microphone works for handsfree phone calls? Check
Priced so low I won't be in mourning for two days if I lose them or step on them? Check

Of course, they don't sound like...

1.0 out of 5 stars Seriously Disappointing
I ordered this headset after having had two Apple headsets (one lost and one worn out). I had hoped that this thing would fit the bill at a lower price - this thing is absolute rubbish. Sound quality poor (no high sounds, all bass), tight rubber fit means you can literally blow your eardrums out, mic does no work at all, jack is sensitive to movement. In conclusion -...

Sound quality poor (no high sounds, all bass), tight rubber fit means you can literally blow your eardrums out, mic does no work at all, jack is sensitive to movement. In conclusion - never again - absolute junk - and as soon as I get to the Apple store (Amazon not carrying at moment) I will go back to the originals and I will throw these out.

Maybe it was the missing inner screen (inside the earphone), maybe it was my ear, however I must say this product is probably the worst earphone I have ever encountered. It is even worth then the Apple OEM earphone. I am not looking for audiophile quality nor compare such with the one goes for $60-$100, at least it should sound half decent. Unlike the other reviewer mentioned, my experience was that I heard no high nor low frequency, it sounded like if I was listening through 2-3 boxes, close to what you hear through the telephone set. The built quality was also very poor. Due to the defect in my order, I returned it to the seller. There is a note I'd like to make is MyNetDeals (the seller) handled my request extremely well, very understanding and the action was prompt. Too bad the earphone was a piece of.....

I'm not an audiophile, so I'm not normally bothered by medium audio quality in my headphones or speakers. But the quality on these headphones was just terrible. There is no bass at all. There is no volume or fullness in the audio. I feel like I'm listening to my music inside of a bucket.

I would get a refund if I could. My best recommendation is simply not to buy this headset.

They're OK.
I like the original iPhone ear buds with the Griffin covers better.

The mic is about 10x larger than the iPhone set, making the headphones unbalanced and the ear bud keeps falling out of my ear. The button is small compared to the mic.
The sound could definitely be better, and the screen pops off easy when cleaning or replacing the rubber buds.
They feel a little cheap but then again they were only $10.

The cord is a great long length and it's an even length on both sides, unlike other models I've tried.

Of course, they don't sound like the v-moda headphones, but at 1/10th the price you need these just as a backup.

1.0 out of 5 stars Totally waste of money and time, February 24, 2009
This review is from: New Stereo Headset Hands-free Earphone with build-in Microphone for Apple iPhone, 3G - Compatible with iPod Touch, iPod Classic, iPod Nano 3G 2G 1G, iPod Shuffle and MP3 MP4 - White (Electronics)
Purchasing this product is really waste of time and money. Really poor sound quality. Sound level drops even if the wire disturbed or microphone button pressed. With a dollar or two extra you can get better product than this. I totally don't recommend this product.

Keep your money and invest on something better because this headphones WILL dissappoint you. Sound is all muffled, nothing crisp. Used them once to try them and never put them on again. Save your money.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money, October 6, 2008

The headphone pieces are very flimsy and they don't stay in my ear. I think for them to fit comfortably you would need to be a giant. The sound when playing MP3s is also very tinny and doesn't produce a good sound range. Not worth even the $8 I spent on them.

Look, they're $6 and they work with the iPhone. The sound quality isn't fantastic, but it's not bad at all. The hands-free call answering/track pausing and skipping feature is great. Plus they fit comfortably in my ear.
